FATHERS DAY BREAKFAST | On Monday 7th of September we are hosting a Fathers Day breakfast and would like to invite all of our dads, uncles and grandpas to join us for the morning in the learning centre. We are kicking things off at 8:40 and would love to see you there!

KITCHEN GARDEN | Our students across all levels of the school have been busy, spending lots of time outside in the garden while the sun is out. We've been building habitats for the local wildlife, with Lizard lounges, a Frog Bog and a Frog Hotel under construction.

Our students have also been planting many native plants as well as mulching and watering them. With a focus on encouraging biodiversity in the school yard and creating spaces that they can have a lasting impact on.

With spring around the corner, our gardens at school and at home are getting ready to take off. If you're getting out into the garden this season, don't be afraid to hand your children a shovel and see what they can teach you about Kitchen Garden this year.

JUMP ROPE FOR HEART | Ararat Primary School is excited to be taking part in Jump Rope for Heart this term!

So far we have 22 students registered and have raised just over $1000!

JUMP ROPE FOR HEART | Ararat Primary School is excited to be taking part in Jump Rope for Heart this term!

Over the next six weeks, our students will be learning awesome skipping tricks, building their fitness, challenging themselves, and having a whole lot of fun in PE.

Families can also choose to support the Heart Foundation through optional fundraising, helping fund lifesaving heart disease research, education and support for Australians affected by heart disease.

To register, scan the QR code on the poster or go to the link below and you will be directed to the sign up page. There are individual prizes to be won and all fundraising goes directly to the Heart Foundation.

We'll wrap up the program with a spectacular Jump Off Day on the last day of term, where each year level will showcase the incredible skills, tricks and routines they've been practising.
