This week children where able to make some ‘ice creams’🍦
We love messy sensory play at Alligators.
Sensory play so important in development for children. Sensory play encourages learning through exploration, curiosity, problem solving and creativity. It helps to build nerve connections in the brain and encourages the development of language and motor skills.
You can make this easy and fun activity at home by mixing shaving foam and a drop of paint together for colour. ☀️

This week we also had an Easter themed sensory tray, that is taste safe for all ages to enjoy and work on fine motor skills with scooping and picking up objects.

Hi everyone! I hope you have all had a good break over the summer holidays ☀️
Apsley Alligators returns for 2026, on a new day this year! Playgroup will now run on a Wednesday morning, 9.30 - 11.30 still at the Apsley primary school.
All welcome! Bring along a hat, water bottle, little snack and a gold coin donation. Come and have a cuppa with other parents while your children have a fun and engaging morning 🙂

Alligator’s 2025 Christmas party 🎄
That is a wrap for Apsley Alligators for 2025. Thank you to all of the parents who have brought their little ones along this year.
Thank you to all who came to celebrate the end of the year, and a massive thank you to all who made this possible. The time, dedication and effort to put into this amazing morning is truly appreciated.
We all wish you a Merry Christmas and a safe and happy holiday period!
Alligators will be back in 2026, all the details will be posted in the new year.
And to the little ones who are off to school next year, we wish you the best of luck ❤️

Hopefully it is a nice morning for some water play outside, so sunscreen may be needed ☀️

Alligators Christmas party is upcoming! 🎄
All welcome, come along and meet the big man in red, have a bbq and join in with some Christmas activities!
Chris Bull will also join us for some Christmas photos for the family. Prices and information are included in the photo below 🙂
Monday 15th of December 9.30am at the Apsley park. It will be a great morning, hope to see you all there ❤️
