🌿 On Monday, our Stage 1 Food & Hospitality students took part in a hands-on Native Foods Masterclass with award-winning Adelaide chef Andrew Fielke AM , founder of the internationally renowned Red Ochre restaurants and Creative Native Foods Service. Students explored the diversity of native Australian ingredients through a sensory tasting experience before cooking two of Andrew's signature recipes: Green Lemon Myrtle Curry of Chicken and Sticky Date Pudding with Wattleseed Miso Caramel.

Chef Andrew shared his passion for native ingredients and their importance in developing truly Australian cuisine. Our students will now put their skills to the test in their Native Foods Practical Assessment, creating restaurant-quality dishes that celebrate the incredible flavours of our own backyard! ✨

What an incredible week of competition! Congratulations to all our students and staff who took part in this year's events, giving their best from the sporting field to the stage. Your school spirit made this victory possible, and we couldn't be prouder.

Our students have been giving their absolute best in every event, showing incredible skill, teamwork, and school spirit against Thomas More College [official]] . The energy has been electric, and we couldn't be prouder of how our students are representing our respective schools.

🧸 Our Stage 2 Child Development students recently visited Hospital School SA at the Women's and Children's Hospital, donating handmade blankets, games, and toys for children in hospital care. We also handed over the blankets our staff lovingly made earlier this year, along with a Colin Bear as a symbol of friendship between our two schools.

Thank you to Hospital School SA for welcoming us and for the incredible work you do supporting children in need. What a beautiful example of compassion and service in action. 💙

📚 Our staff hit all the right notes at yesterday's Primary School Book Week parade! Dressing up as their favourite book characters, they brought this year's theme, A Symphony of Stories, to life in spectacular fashion. Every year the costumes keep getting better, and this year was no exception!

The celebration isn't over yet, with more Book Week activities happening all week and the Secondary dress-up day this Friday. Stay tuned! ✨
