💙 Bullying No Way Week 💛

This week, our Preschool children have been exploring what it means to be a kind and caring friend. Through group discussions, creative experiences and plenty of beautiful moments of friendship, the children shared their own ideas about kindness, including sharing, helping others, giving cuddles and using kind words. 🫶

Our “What makes a good friend?” display celebrates their voices and reminds us that even the smallest acts of kindness can make a big difference. 🌈

We are so proud to see our Preschoolers building positive relationships, showing empathy and learning how to make everyone feel safe, included and valued. 💚

👖🧬 Jeans for Genes Day 2026! 🧬👖

On Thursday, 6 August, our children and educators rocked their denim for Jeans for Genes Day! 💙

🦷 Healthy smiles all around! 😁

Today we welcomed Pearly Dental Services to our centre for children’s dental check-ups. The children enjoyed meeting the friendly dental team, learning about caring for their teeth and taking home a special surprise for being very brave.

🌱 Early Learning Matters Week 🌱

This week we celebrated Early Learning Matters Week by recognising that every moment is an opportunity to learn. From imaginative play and creative art experiences to outdoor adventures, role play and meaningful group times, our children explored, discovered and build new skills through play.

Pyjamas with a Purpose 💙

Warm hearts, cosy pyjamas and beautiful smiles! 💤

Our children loved dressing up in their favourite PJs, and together with our wonderful families, we raised $190 for children in foster care.

Thank you for making this week so special. Your kindness reminds us that even the smallest acts of generosity can have the biggest impact. 💙

🌈✨Crazy Hair Week✨🌈

Chipmunks in the Forest was bursting with colour, creativity and plenty of laughter as the children proudly showed off their crazy hairstyles while raising awareness for Cystic Fibrosis Australia. It was wonderful to see so many unique and imaginative hair creations, with every child embracing the fun and excitement of the week. 🎨🌟

Throughout the week, the children engaged in a variety of Crazy Hair Week inspired experiences, including creative arts and crafts, sensory play, group learning experiences and hands on activities that encouraged imagination, self expression and meaningful conversations around supporting others. ✂️🧡

A huge thank you to our wonderful families for getting involved and helping make the week so memorable! We loved seeing all of the incredible hairstyles, colourful creations and the smiles they brought to our centre. ⭐️

What a wonderful week we’ve had celebrating NAIDOC Week at Chipmunks in the Forest! 🪃

Throughout the week, the children explored and celebrated the rich histories, cultures and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples through a range of meaningful learning experiences.

The children enjoyed creating Indigenous inspired artworks, exploring traditional symbols and storytelling, engaging in sensory play with natural materials, discovering native animals, participating in music and movement and learning about caring for Country.

We are so proud of the children’s enthusiasm, curiosity and respect as they embraced these experiences throughout the week.

🌏♻️ Plastic Free July ♻️🌏

This week, our Little Explorers celebrated Plastic Free July by turning a recycled cardboard box into a colourful house! 🏡🎨

Through this creative experience, the children explored the importance of reusing materials and learnt how small actions can help care for our environment. 💚
