A great day of soccer at Kenilworth State Community College. Huge thanks to Mr Head for organising this gala day. We played games against other small schools and enjoyed a delicious tuckshop! Well done to our students ⚽️

Highly anticipated Soccer Gala Day is on Friday 19th June. Bus leaves at 9am. Wear school uniform, shin pads, hat and water bottle. No soccer boots allowed. Canteen available.

✨Mary Valley Athletics at Mary Valley State College ✨

Today we travelled to Imbil to compete with our friends at Dagun, Kandanga and Mary Valley in short sprints, high jump, 1500m, ball games and relays.

Congratulations to our students for giving their very best in all events. Some were rewarded with a place!

Thank you Mr Howarth, Mr Mabb and the Mary Valley staff for organising the day. Also thanks to our families for transporting and cheering the students on today, it was wonderful to see so much support!

Students who qualify for the Mary Valley team for Gympie District Athletics Trials will be notified next week.

On Friday 12th June we held our Athletics Carnival with our cluster schools. James Nash State High School and Mary Valley State College provided support on the day with their High School students.

We would like to thank these students for their enthusiasm, professionalism and willingness to help. It contributed greatly to the smooth running and success of the event - even if we all got a bit wet from rain at the start of the day.

It was wonderful to see the students engaging positively with our school communities and demonstrating excellent leadership and teamwork skills. They are credits to your schools.

We truly value the partnership between our schools and look forward to future opportunities to work together.

Mini Sports Athletics Carnival at Amamoor State School 🏆

Our cluster schools of Dagun, Kandanga, Mary Valley and Amamoor joined together today with a rainy start but a lovely sunny day to end!

Congratulations to all students on competing with fun and sportsmanship. Special mentions to the athletes who helped out their competitors during the events and congratulated each other 🤩

Thank you to Gympie Salvos and Amamoor State School P&C Association for a delicious canteen today. The burgers and baked goods were amazing!

Hugh thanks to all the staff for the help before, during and after the event to allow it run smoothly. We look forward to joining again together at Mary Valley State College on Thursday 18th for the remaining events and ball games.

Introducing our Wellbeing Officer: Jorge-Ella.

This week we have welcomed Jorge-Ella to our beautiful community. You will see her serving up breaky, at Playgroup, supporting the students in play at lunch time and providing wellbeing sessions to students, staff and families.

Jorge-Ella will be at Amamoor every Monday, Wednesday and Thursday 🤩
