🌿🔍 Little Explorers Discovering Nature! 🔍🌿
Our Toddler children have been exploring the wonderful world of nature and our environment through a hands-on matching and sensory experience! 🍃🌾🌱
The children were invited to investigate a variety of natural items, carefully observing their colours, textures, shapes and patterns before matching them to the pictures. They showed wonderful curiosity as they explored each item and made connections between what they could see and what they were holding. 💚
This experience encouraged sensory exploration, language development, concentration, matching skills and early scientific thinking, while supporting the children to develop a growing appreciation for the natural world around them. 🌏✨
So much learning happens when little hands and curious minds explore together! 🥰🌿

🍳✨ Little Chefs in Action! ✨🍳
Our Toddler children had so much fun getting involved in a hands-on cooking experience with their educators! 👩🍳👨🍳
The children worked alongside their educators to help mix and prepare homemade playdough for their room. They enjoyed scooping, pouring, mixing and watching the ingredients come together to create something special that they can continue to explore and play with. 💕🌈
This experience supported the children to develop their fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, communication and cooperation, while also encouraging curiosity, confidence and a wonderful sense of belonging as they helped create something for their own learning environment.
There was lots of excitement, messy hands and plenty of smiles along the way! 🥰

🌿🦘 Wombat Stew – Extending Our Learning! 🦘🌿
Our Kinder children have been enjoying the much-loved story Wombat Stew and were inspired to take their learning even further! 📚✨
After reading the story together, the children explored their creativity and teamwork by creating their very own wombat using natural materials. 🍃🌿 They carefully selected leaves, sticks and other materials to bring their wombat to life, thinking about its features and how they could represent them.
This experience encouraged the children to:
🦘 Develop their creativity and imagination
🌱 Explore and use natural materials
🤝 Work collaboratively and share ideas
💭 Make connections between stories and their own creations
📚 Extend their language, literacy and storytelling skills
We love seeing how a simple story can spark so many wonderful ideas and opportunities for learning! 💚✨
