Yesterday, our school community came together to celebrate World Environment Day with a whole-school yard clean-up and a range of engaging lunchtime activities focused on caring for our environment.
Students worked collaboratively to collect litter and tidy our yard. These activities highlighted that small actions can make a big difference when we work together.
Thank you to all students and staff who participated and helped make our school a cleaner, greener, and more sustainable place for everyone. 💚🌏

Cruz, Isabella and Elsie represented the school the Hobson’s Bay Junior School Council meeting. Cruz spoke clearly and confidently while putting in our request for more drink taps around Cherry Lake.

This gorgeous guy was found onsite. He wandered in through the Sargood St gate. Anyone own him or know who might?

What a wonderful celebration of the Mary Help of Christians Feast Day!
We gathered together for a prayerful and uplifting Mass before enjoying an action-packed tabloid sports program run by the amazing Kaboom Sports team.
The beautiful weather made the day even more special, with plenty of laughter, teamwork, and fun shared by all.
We then came together for a delicious shared lunch featuring mouth-watering pies and sausage rolls from Salt n Pepa Café — a huge hit with everyone!
Thank you to all who helped make the day such a joyful and memorable community celebration.

Education Support Staff (ESS) Day in Victoria is celebrated on Saturday, 16 May 2026.
Today we took the opportunity to celebrate ESS Day, recognising our incredible Educational Support Staff who make such a positive difference in our school community every day. Our ESS staff work alongside our children, families and colleagues with kindness, patience and compassion, providing care and support that helps everyone thrive. To show our appreciation, we enjoyed a special morning tea together to honour their wonderful work and to thank them for the valuable role they play in supporting learning, wellbeing and connection in our school each and every day.

We are excited to announce our new fundraising sponsor…
Mayde is proud to help first-home buyers in Victoria turn their dreams into reality by designing and building beautiful homes in the growth areas of Melbourne and Geelong.
While buying and building a first home can feel like a journey of firsts, Mayde has walked this path many times before, with a goal to make the home-building journey simple, enjoyable and stress-free: with plenty of room for those first night pizzas on the floor of your new.
Want to see for yourself? Visit a Mayde display home at 9 Dandenong Way, Donnybrook.

Our School Captains and Social Justice Leaders had the best day celebrating Catholic Education Week in the city today. “Best day ever!”, even though Mr Freeman played a trick on them, asking some helpful police officers to tell them not to play with sticks.
Thanks Mrs Riccardi and Mr Freeman for allowing our leaders to attend this special day.
