Celebrating JJAMM Week & the Feast of St Mary of the Cross MacKillop.
Last week, we celebrated our much-loved JJAMM Week, reminding us of what we value in our Josephite identity, St Josephโs humble spirit, Fr Julian Tenison Woodsโ vision, and St Mary of the Cross MacKillopโs call to โnever see a need without doing something about it.โ
On Friday, it felt as though Mary was smiling down on us, with the winter sun shining as our College community gathered for a beautiful celebration of the Eucharist, made even more special by the presence of five Sisters of Saint Joseph. The celebrations continued into the afternoon with plenty of fun, feasting and fundraising for Mary MacKillop Today.
Maryโs story is not simply one we remember, it is one we continue.
St Mary of the Cross MacKillop, pray for us. ๐

๐ช๐ฒ๐น๐ฐ๐ผ๐บ๐ฒ, ๐ฆ๐ฒ๐ถ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐ถ ๐ฆ๐ถ๐๐๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ | Yesterday afternoon, we were delighted to welcome our Seirei Peace Exchange students to Mount St. Joseph Girls' College, where they were warmly greeted by their host families and our school community.
The Seirei Peace Exchange is a treasured tradition that fosters lifelong friendships, cultural understanding and meaningful connections between our students and our sister school in Japan. Many host families continue these special relationships long after the exchange has ended, making this program a truly enriching experience for everyone involved.
We look forward to sharing many memorable moments together over the coming days and hope our visitors enjoy experiencing Australian life, our school community and all that Melbourne has to offer.
Welcome to MSJ - we're so happy you're here! ๐ฆ๐บ
