Today Seaholme's School Captains joined other student leaders around Hobson's Bay in a student forum at Hobson's Bay City Council.
We are very proud of the way our leaders conducted themselves and made thoughtful contributions. What a great experience to be a part of.
Special thanks to Mrs V for supporting the captains today ♥️

🦋 Big morning in 1/2E as the chrysalis they have been nurturing emerged as a monarch butterfly! 🦋
The grade named it "Flame" and released it into Seaholme Sanctuary with celebration and well wishes.
Keep an eye out for Flame in our gardens ♥️

🚶🏼♀️Walk to School Day 🚶🏼♀️
Yesterday students and families emerged from the fog having walked to school for Walk to School Day.
The initiative is all about encouraging the health and environmental benefits of walking, while teaching children essential road safety skills.
A big thanks to teachers Mr Marshall, Mark, and Mrs V who led walks from different meeting points around Seaholme.
Thanks also to Mr Reese for organizing the event 🙏🏼

Thanks to all of the families who came down to participate in the parent workshop in the Hub with Occupational Therapist, Pranita this morning. The session was about fine motor skills, handwriting and development.
It was so positive to learn together, and we love that Pranita made it preschooler-friendly, too ♥️
Big thanks to Living Without Boundaries Occupational Therapy 🙏🏼

🚸 Did you happen to spot the Grade Sixes with their Prep buddies out at the local crossings yesterday? 🚸
This was part of the road safety learning that students have been doing. It culminated in practising being safe pedestrians with their favourite people - their buddies!
Highlights included: Being outside, enjoying a neighbourhood walk, many sweet overheard conversations between the buddies, waving to cars and familiar people in the community, and watching Mrs Hogg be so dedicated to her acting role as Crossing Supervisor!
This important road safety learning was made so enjoyable and accessible. Well done to all involved ♥️

A HUGE thank you to the parent and student volunteers who made today's Mothers/Special Person's Stall so enjoyable and positive.
Our students had the BEST time selecting thoughtful gifts with the support of volunteers who gave up time in their busy lives to make it possible [and make it fun!]
Shout out to School Council President Luke and the Fundraising and Community Committee for the effort that went into making today special 🙏🏼
We hope all of the mums and special people feel loved and appreciated on Sunday ♥️

A HUGE thank you to the families who were so generous to give their time today for the working bee.
We didn't get a lot of photos [too busy getting work done!] but it was a great day. The sun was shining and hot chips enhanced the time together ☀️
Thank you to Sue [Business Manager] and Joel [School Council Vice President] for leading today's event ♥️
