THANK YOU, Georgia!
It was Crossing Guard Georgia's last day on the job today. Students enjoyed surprising her with flowers and thanking her for her role in keeping students safe.
We appreciate Georgia for her support of our school, and wish all the best for her next chapter ๐

Today we were fortunate to be visited by a group of Western Bulldogs players โฅ๏ธ
They came at lunchtime for a kick-to-kick with students, then took part in a Q&A session with the Grade 3/4s. There were some great questions and answers, plus some seriously impressive footy skills on display ๐
A big thank you to Riley Garcia, Lachlan McNeil, Cooper Hynes and Luke Kennedy for coming along to hang out with our students ๐๐ผ

๐ฉ๐ผโ๐ฌ๐ Mad About Science Incursion ๐๐ฉ๐ผโ๐ฌ
Today Grade 5 students experienced a science incursion, with the Grade 6s set to enjoy it tomorrow.
The incursion is in alignment with their Term 3 Inquiry topic on 'Journeys of discovery in Science' with a special focus on 'Earth and the Milky Way'. Students explored planets, moons, stars and galaxies, and probed into the mystery and scale of earth's place in the universe.
They enjoyed hands-on activities like using the software 'Stellarium' to explore the night sky, create a scale model of the Solar System, explore gravity, and learn about rockets ๐

We asked some students to describe Mr Barger:
"Mr Barger is definitely kind!"
"He is so responsible and helps people when they are upset."
"He always makes a joke and it is obvious he cares for the school."
"He is a very hard working guy!"
"Mr Barger is fair and smart."
"He is honest and nice to everyone."
A huge resounding thank you to Mr Barger for all that he does to enable Seaholme students to grow and thrive ๐๐ผ

๐ฏ ONE HUNDRED DAYS ๐ฏ
Today the Foundation class of 2026 celebrated 100 days of learning, fun and togetherness. We are so proud of all that they have accomplished in their first 100 days. A huge milestone for them, and their families, too!
We also extended the celebrations to include their Grade 6 buddies. Being the Foundation class of 2020, the Grade 6s were never able to celebrate their 100 day milestone due to lockdowns. Today we were able to give them back that experience and they leaned into it with fabulous costumes and a commitment to having fun with their Foundation friends.
Well done to all who made today so special, and to our wonderful students big and small! โฅ๏ธ

Today the Grade 5 students walked down to Seaholme Kinder.
Their goal? To start building connections with future Foundation students.
Next year, they will take on the important role of being a Grade 6 buddy to a Foundation student. This visit was all about getting to know the Kinder kids and practising being supportive role models. It was a very successful and enjoyable time together.
A big thanks to Mr Marshall, Mrs V, Ms Day and Seaholme Kinder staff for making this experience possible โฅ๏ธ

Grade 3 - 6 Athletics Carnival ๐
What a day! A HUGE thank you to Mr Reese and his amazing team of staff and parent helpers who ran the events today.
Seaholme students had the best time competing for house points and spending time together. Lots of fun and great memories made.
We hope everyone [students and adults alike!] get a good rest tonight after a huge day!
