Year 6 group working on their multiplication skills. They did an excellent job showing their workings and explaining their thinking. It's wonderful to see so many solutions!

This strategy is excellent particularly when multiplying smaller numbers as it supports mental computation.
Initially students show their workings in written format and eventually they are able to apply this strategy mentally and verbally explain their thinking process.

Spelling warm up with the wondeful grade 3 trio!!
Each week we begin our literacy session with a new spelling rule. This group did amazing; they identified verbs and then added the suffixes /ed/ and /ing/.
