Yamba, looking for a rewarding career in care?

Need your White Card?

Our April White Card course in Alstonville still has spots available.

A White Card (General Construction Induction) is required if you want to work in the construction industry. This includes:
• Site managers, supervisors, surveyors, labourers and tradespeople
• Anyone entering operational construction zones
• Workers who regularly access construction sites

If you’re looking to get started in construction, this is your first step.

Please note: Your White Card will become void if you haven’t carried out construction work for two consecutive years or more.

North Coast Community College is excited to announce that our Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing & Disability) will soon be delivered in Casino.

This qualification is ideal if you are looking to start a career supporting people in aged care, disability support, or community services.

Course details
• Study 1 day per week on-site
• Wednesdays | 9:30AM – 2:30PM
• Complete in just 12 months
• Mixed online and on-site learning
• 120 hours of work placement included

Subsidised places available, subject to funding eligibility and availability. This can be discussed during your pre-enrolment interview.

We are now taking bookings for pre-enrolment interviews. Our first interview intake will be held Wednesday 1 April at the Casino Community & Cultural Centre, where you will meet your trainer Nick, learn about the qualification, and explore the career opportunities available in the care sector.
