I have been saving these buckets from as many places as I can get to within 5km and finally managed to collect 30 odd buckets for sorry it’s taken so long to get them to you. Much harder to find them with the state of things right now.

proofing some using hard rubbish finds and boxes as pots. While we are all stuck in lockdown I am trying to make the best of it by spending more time in the garden. Starting to run out of space and materials which forces you to think creatively about how to use what you have already and make do.

Tidy tool storage complete finally! Officially in curfew zone now 😞pretty sad that some people of Melbourne didn’t take things seriously and now we are all going to be at home for the foreseeable future unless things change. Emotional checklist

Picked up some off cuts from a new fence from a neighbour, might have to get creative and make a new insect hotel to match my bee hotel. Well that should keep me occupied for a bit. Does anyone else have ideas for other projects?

Native violets (Viola hederacea) only grow to about 10-15cm tall, very hardy for shade and sun, can tolerate dry areas. Anyone want some cuttings they are very low maintenance and easy to care for. Have plenty to give away. 🌱

Is it spring already? Seems that my hyacinths think it’s time to bloom. Is anyone else seeing strange things like this?
