Alloway SS P&C are in great need of Volunteers for our Sports Day on Friday 19th June. If you can spare an hour or two please call the school. We will make sure that you don't miss your children's events.
AusAlert is a new Australian Government warning system that will deliver emergency and safety messages almost instantly. This system will allow states and territories and the Australian Government to send emergency notifications to people across Australia. There will be a nationwide test on 27 July at 2pm, with full implementation of the system set for October this year. For more information, go to www.ausalert.gov.au.

Dear Parents and Carers,
This semester, in Science, we have had fish tanks in two of the classrooms. This was part of the life cycle and living and non-living units that 5 of our 7 classes were working on.
Well… our Guppies and demonstrated the life cycle of live breeding fish extremely well.
IF you have a fish tank and IF you are happy to take some small guppies, please send in a medium to large glass jar in week 10 (next week) so we can re-home the excess fish.
I am not going to announce this to the students because I don’t want cause upset at home if it is not something that families would not like to have.
Afternoon all. Reminder that food orders are due in tomorrow. Please don't forget.
Food orders are due in Tuesday 16th so we can be ready for Friday
