It was an a-maize-ing week in P/1!
Last week, the P/1 class harvested their corn! The children picked the corn, shucked it and then cooked it up before enjoying the delicious fruits (or should we say vegetables) of their labour.
It was a wonderful hands-on experience for the children, giving them the opportunity to see where their food comes from and enjoy something they had helped grow and harvest.
A huge thank you to Miss Caitlin, our wonderful green thumb, for growing the corn and giving the children this special experience each year.
