We had some wonderful outfits, made lots of special memories, and celebrated our shared love of books! A big thank you to our parent volunteer readers for joining us today and to our wonderful Educators for getting involved in the dress-up fun. 📖

📚✨ Book Week has begun!
We kicked off our Book Week celebrations today, and the children were so excited! 💕 We welcomed a local Prep teacher and some wonderful parent volunteers who shared special stories with us. 📖
We’re looking forward to more parent readers tomorrow and our exciting Dress-Up Day!

Children’s imaginations can bring their previous experiences to life in the most wonderful ways! ✨
Today, a child used magnetic tiles to create an enclosure for a crocodile. They then drew on their previous experiences and knowledge to extend the play, pretending to feed the crocodile grass.🐊
This kind of imaginative play shows how children build on what they already know, making connections, solving problems, creating stories and developing their own ideas. Through play, children are not simply “pretending” — they are learning, exploring and making meaning of the world around them. 💚

A little rain never stops the play! ☔️
While we love getting outdoors for fun and adventures, our Babies and Toddlers are also happy enjoying a cosy day inside. Warm play dough, trucks and lots of happy little moments made for a pretty lovely rainy day. 🌧️
