Ok for those who want an extra look or two at the RAAF FA 18 Super Hornets and the C17 Globemaster III times and places can be found in the comments. For those who have never seen a display at the RAAF Base Amberley there really isn’t a bad place to see them. 2 popular spots are on either Old Toowoomba Rd or Behms Rd Amberley. NB It is important that if you are taking photos make certain your shots are after the planes leave the ground with no buildings in your shots. The Military Police are often floating around and if they believe you are doing the wrong thing you’ll be asked to move along.

I always get a little excited when I spot a Blue Bonnet Parrot appear. Whilst we do see them around their visits certainly aren’t a daily occurrence.

A quiet few days at home before Brisbane’s Riverfire on Saturday the 5th September. I have been fortunate enough to secure a rooftop venue again this year so I am very excited to see what is in store for us this year. It’s free so why not enjoy and afternoon and evening in Brisbane along the river.
