What a fantastic day we had at our annual Cross Country! We were blessed with perfect weather and a wonderful turnout from families and supporters.
A huge thank you to all the parents, carers and community members who came along to cheer on our students. Your support helped make the day such a success.
Congratulations to every student who participated. The determination, effort and sportsmanship shown by all runners was outstanding. Students have been training hard over the past few weeks, and it was wonderful to see their hard work pay off today. We are also excited to share that several records were broken during the event β these will be officially announced at our next school assembly.

Yesterday our students took part in Simultaneous Storytime Australia, joining schools and libraries around the country to read the wonderful book LunaRoo together. π
After enjoying the story together, students then completed a guided drawing activity inspired by LunaRoo, creating some fantastic artwork. βοΈ Thank you to Mrs Young, and the wonderful setup you created for the day!

What's better than a hot pie or toasted sandwich on a cold winter's day? π₯§
Allanson Primary School's P&C Association was in need of a new pie warmer to ensure the comfort and healthy eating habits of students.
After a $1091 grant via our Grants & Sponsorships Program, there will be plenty of warm bellies during the cold months.
Look at those smiles! π₯Ή

Our Year 5/6 students had a fantastic day in Brunswick for Leonardo Day (Science Day) alongside selected schools. Students explored rocks and their history, learnt about animal sounds and communication in the wild, enjoyed the exciting Science Alive show focusing on light and energy, and took part in a Water Corporation challenge designing water pumps to transport water without leaks. A fun and educational day full of hands-on science learning! π¬π§ͺπ‘
