👩‍🍳 Cooking Up a Storm! 🥤🥢

Our students have been busy in the kitchen with Ms Cowgill, creating some delicious treats including yummy smoothies and tasty stir-fry! 🍓🥭🥦

A big thank you to our amazing P&C for their very generous donation, which allowed us to purchase all the kitchen equipment and items needed to make these cooking experiences possible. 💚

We’re looking forward to seeing what our budding chefs create next! 👩‍🍳✨

🐍 Look away now if snakes aren’t your thing… 👀😅

What a fantastic way to finish off last term!

A huge thank you to Phil from South West Reptile Rescues & Education for visiting our school and sharing his incredible knowledge with us. Our students were fascinated as they learned all about Australia’s amazing reptiles, with plenty of opportunities to get up close and ask all of their curious questions.

It was wonderful to also welcome our Little Sprouts and their families, who joined us for this exciting experience. Seeing everyone so engaged, excited, and eager to learn made for a memorable morning.

Thank you again, Phil, for an educational, hands-on visit that our students will be talking about for a long time! 💚🐍

On the last week of last term, we were lucky to welcome Teach Learn Grow to Allanson Primary School! 🌱

Our library became home to the TLG team as they worked with students across the school, delivering engaging small group literacy sessions that helped build confidence, strengthen skills, and inspire a love of learning.

We are incredibly grateful for the time, knowledge, and support the TLG team shared with our students. Opportunities like this make a real difference, and we feel very fortunate to have welcomed them to our school.

🌱 Growing Together on the Karak Trail 🌱

As part of our NAIDOC Week celebrations, our students had the opportunity to take part in a tree planting activity along the Karak Trail yesterday. It was a meaningful way to connect with Country, learn about caring for the environment, and celebrate the rich culture and history of our First Nations peoples.

A huge thank you to Bluewaters Power Station and Arc Infrastructure for generously sponsoring this initiative.

Together, we're helping to care for Country—one tree at a time. 🌿
