Kindy to Pre-primary 2027 Enrolment Process

We are commencing the enrolment process of current Kindy students for Pre-primary 2027. The office will accept enrolments from Monday 31st August – Friday 11th September between 8.30am and 3.30pm.

You will be required to provide the following supporting documentation:

• Current proof of address (gas or electricity usage bill)
• MyGov Immunisation History Statement
• Any updated visa documentation (if applicable).

What a fantastic Book Week Parade at Alkimos Beach Primary School yesterday!
Our students looked incredible in their book-inspired costumes, and we loved seeing their creativity and enthusiasm on display. Well done to every student who took part!
A big thank you to our parents and carers whose hard work helped bring these wonderful characters to life.
We'd also like to extend a special thank you to Story Dogs for visiting us today. If you didn't spot her amongst all the amazing costumes, we've included a photo because it really was a game of "Where's Mabel, the Story Dog?"

A huge thank you to our amazing P&C for their generous donation of $2,097. Thanks to their support, we have been able to purchase 30 new oxford dictionaries and a variety of home readers for our students.
These valuable resources will help support literacy development and learning across the school. We are incredibly grateful for the ongoing support our P&C provides to our students and school community.

A group of our Year 6 Leadership Team got to be Park Planners for a day. Stockland is in the early stages of planning a new park near Bather’s Park and needed some expert opinions. Our students gave ideas for elements of playgrounds that they love, whilst also considering the needs of children of all ages and abilities, and definitely ideas on catering for dogs. The Eco Warriors gave some good ideas on keeping the park sustainable, and the Gnarla Biddi representatives shared some ideas for integrating the indigenous history and connection with land and sea. We all can't wait to see what the space will look like when it opens next year.

Our Year 4 students became scientists on the 24th of July during a fantastic incursion with Kids Research Institute Australia! From testing glucose levels in drinks to making predictions and analysing results, students showed great curiosity, teamwork and scientific thinking.

Despite the wet weather, our Years 4-6 students gave it their all at the Interschool Cross Country Carnival on the 7th of August, finishing an impressive 2nd overall! Congratulations to all participants, and a big thank you to our supportive families and Mrs Radich for her dedication in organising the team. What a fantastic achievement!
