Kindy & Pre-Primary Cross Country 💛
On Tuesday, our Kindy and Pre-Primary students took on their own Cross Country course and what a joy it was to watch!
While the track may have looked short from the sidelines, it was a big adventure for our littlest runners. There were big smiles, determined faces and plenty of encouragement as students gave it their very best effort.
Some raced across the finish line while others took things at their own pace, supported by an EA or one of our wonderful Year 6 helpers. Every student showed courage, perseverance and a willingness to have a go.
We are so proud of all our little runners!
A big thank you to the staff, helpers and families who came along to support. The cheers from the sidelines made all the difference and helped carry our students over the finish line.

🐝 Spelling Bee Finals
S-P-E-L-L-I-N-G.
On Tuesday, 9 June, our Annual Primary Spelling Bee came to an exciting conclusion as our finalists took to the stage to put their spelling skills to the test.
While we celebrated some outstanding spellers, the real success story is the many weeks of learning, practice and perseverance shown by students across our Primary School.
Congratulations to all our finalists and well done to every student who embraced the challenge. We are so proud of your effort and growth throughout the competition.

Wanneroo Mayors Prayer Breakfast
Yesterday, our current student leaders attended the Wanneroo Mayor's Prayer Breakfast, joining community leaders, churches and schools in praying for our city.
A special and unexpected highlight of the morning was introducing our emerging student leaders to Joan and Bill Grosser. Joan and Bill established Midland Christian School, which would later become Swan Christian Education Association. Through that vision, Northshore was planted and today the Association serves more than 6,000 students and their families across Western Australia.
It was a meaningful opportunity for our students to reflect on the legacy of faith, leadership and service that has helped shape our school community.

Careers & Pathways Expo
A little rain certainly wasn't going to stop us! Despite a few showers throughout the evening, our Careers & Pathways Expo was a fantastic success.
It was wonderful to see students and families engaging in meaningful conversations about future pathways, asking questions, exploring opportunities and learning more about the many options available after school. Our exhibitors did a fantastic job sharing their knowledge and experiences, encouraging students to pursue their interests and consider where those passions may lead.
A huge thank you to our teaching staff for the incredible displays and interactive exhibits that showcased the subjects and pathways available at Northshore. Thank you also to our exhibitors for investing in our students, our food truck vendors for keeping everyone well fed and our community for coming along and making the evening such a success.
A special thank you goes to Mrs Stockill for the enormous amount of work that goes on behind the scenes to coordinate an event of this scale. We are so grateful for the time, care and dedication that made the evening possible.
Thank you to everyone who joined us for a wonderful night of exploring future possibilities.

Science in Bloom
Earlier this term, our Year 8 students took a closer look at the fascinating world of flowers through a hands-on dissection activity.
As part of their Biology studies, students carefully examined the different structures of a flower, learning how each part plays an important role in pollination and reproduction. It was a great opportunity to apply classroom learning in a practical way and gain a deeper appreciation for the complexity of God's creation 🌸
