📸 School Photo Reminder!

Just a friendly reminder that School Photos are taking place on Monday, 7 September and Tuesday, 8 September.

All students are required to wear their full winter uniform on both days and comply with all aspects of the School Uniform Policy.

Please remember:
• Blazers must be worn.
• Girls are to wear black stockings only for photographs.
• All other uniform requirements must be followed.

Time to make sure those uniforms are photo-ready! 📸💛

💛 Educational Assistant Appreciation Week 💛

This year, Primary have been talking about what it means to Tuck in the Towel and follow Jesus’ example of serving others.

And if there is one group of people who live this out every single day, it’s our incredible Educational Assistants.

You notice the child who needs a little extra help. You step in with encouragement, patience and kindness. You do the jobs that need doing, often quietly and without recognition.

Every time you kneel beside a desk, offer reassurance or help a child believe in themselves, you are making a difference.

Thank you for all the jobs we see and all the ones we don’t. Thank you for loving our children, supporting our teachers and serving our school community so faithfully.

We see you. We appreciate you. And we are so grateful for you. 💛

🔥 The Rite Journey: Solo Camp

What an experience for our Year 9 students!

From setting up their own tents, making fires and cooking their own dinner, to spending time away from everyday distractions and reflecting in nature, our students embraced the challenge of Solo Camp.

The adventure didn’t stop there, with hiking, teamwork activities, a cold plunge challenge and plenty of time to share stories and celebrate their achievements together.

A special experience filled with new skills, challenges, friendships and plenty of memories. 🌿🔥

🏀 Northshore Basketball! 🏀

Last week, both our boys’ and girls’ basketball teams played their hearts out, making it through to the finals and finishing with an incredible 3rd place! 👏🏆

We’re so proud of the hard work, determination and teamwork shown by both teams throughout the competition.

And there’s even more to look forward to! In 2027, Northshore will be launching our Basketball Specialist Program, giving students the opportunity to develop their skills with specialist coaching as part of their school week. 🏀

Well done to all our players! We can’t wait to see what’s ahead for basketball at Northshore. 💛

There was plenty of running, cheering, encouragement and school spirit as our Primary students gave it their all at our Athletics Carnival.

🏎️ Fast & Furious Father’s Day Races 🏎️

What a lovely morning celebrating the dads and father figures in our Northshore community! 💛

Breakfast was shared, plenty of laughs were had and the excitement was high as our much-loved Fast & Furious races took to the track once again!

Dads can be the strong ones, the protectors and the steady hands their children look to. But they are also the ones giving piggyback rides, fixing things, sharing laughs, offering encouragement and loving their families in all the little everyday moments. 💛

To all the dads and father figures in our community, thank you for all that you do. You are loved and appreciated!

Try a Trade at NMTAFE 🔨👷

What a busy and hands-on three days for some of our Year 10 students!

The boys had the opportunity to try their hand at Bricklaying, Wall and Ceiling Lining, and Wall and Floor Tiling, learning the basics and getting stuck into each trade.

It was great to see them working hard, having a go and discovering which trade they enjoyed most. A fantastic opportunity to get their hands dirty, learn some new skills and explore future career pathways!

Pastors' Breakfast

Last week, we had such a lovely morning of fellowship! ☕️🥐💙

It was wonderful to welcome pastors from our local churches to Northshore for breakfast, conversation and a chance to connect. We loved hearing about what our local churches have on offer for our students and families and the many opportunities to get involved.

A big thank you to everyone who joined us and shared in the morning. We’re so grateful for the wonderful connections we have with our local church community. 💙
