To celebrate Easter last week, the children spent time out in the community handing out Easter eggs to local businesses 🐣

It was a lovely way to connect with our community, with the children enjoying the experience of giving and sharing with others.

A simple but meaningful way to celebrate the season 💛

A big congratulations to Porscha on completing her Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care 🎓🌿

This is such an important milestone and a reflection of the time, effort, and dedication she has put into her role as an educator. We’re so proud to see her continue to grow and develop within the industry 🤍

One of our wonderful educators is taking part in an incredible charity event this weekend 💛

They’ll be spending 20 hours in complete silence to raise awareness and funds for youth mental health through 20 Hours for 20Talk.

🗣️ It’s a powerful reminder of how important it is to create safe spaces for young people to talk, feel supported, and be heard.

If you’re able to support, even a small donation can make a meaningful difference.

On the weekend, our teams from across all Tribe centres came together for our annual Tribe Conference - a dedicated day of professional learning and development 🌱

It was an opportunity to step back from our day-to-day roles, connect as a team, and continue building on our knowledge as educators.

We explored creative nature play through art with Kelly Goodsir from The Creative Collection, and took part in the Playing with Gratitude Project with Rod Soper. Both sessions encouraged reflection, creativity, and a deeper understanding of how nature play and gratitude can be meaningfully embedded into children’s learning 🌏

🧠 Ongoing learning is a big part of what shapes the experiences we create for children, and days like this allow us to keep evolving, growing, and strengthening our practice.

Tribe Conference 2026 ☀️

What an incredible experience!

We spent time with Kelly Goodsir exploring the creative collection, where we got hands on and really let our creativity flow. Using a mix of natural materials and different tools, we created our own unique pieces and art work. It was such a fun and inspiring session.

One of the highlights was using Microscopes to take a closer look at nature. It gave us a whole new appreciation for the detail and beauty in the natural world! 🍁

To wrap it all up, we joined Rod and Fiona for a meaningful gratitude project. We explored how powerful gratitude can be, not just in our everyday lives but also in our workplace. A great reminder of the impact a positive mindset can have! 🌼

We can’t wait to implement these into our centre! 🪻

Tiny Tots Nature Walk Adventure! 💐

Last week our little explorers set off on a wonderful nature walk! The children enjoyed the fresh air, listened to the birds, spotted leaves and flowers, and discovered all the little wonders that nature has to offer.

Nature walks are a great way for our Tiny Tots to build curiosity, develop observation skills, and connect with the world around them. We loved seeing their excitement as they explored and shared their discoveries with friends 🍀

Well done to our amazing Tiny Tots for being such fantastic explorers! 🌳

Earlier this week, we went out on our first nature walk along our local bush trail 🌳

So much learning came from this experience. When children pick something up, they’re not just holding it - they’re exploring texture, weight, shape and difference. They’re making predictions, asking questions, testing ideas, and building understanding through direct experience.

The children paused to closely inspect bark patterns, collect leaves to compare sizes 🍃, watch insects move through the grass 🐜, and excitedly share their findings with one another. 🗣️

Walking the trail also encouraged confidence and independence. Navigating uneven ground, adjusting their balance, and staying aware of their surroundings supports coordination, risk assessment, and resilience in real time.

Experiences like this allow learning to feel authentic and child-led. We’re looking forward to continuing these walks and seeing what new discoveries they make next 🤍

Before academic learning begins, children first need to feel safe, secure, and connected 🤍

When strong relationships, consistent routines, and opportunities for self-expression are prioritised, children build the confidence and wellbeing that support all future learning 🌱

These early foundations help children approach new experiences with curiosity, resilience, and a genuine love of learning ✨

If you would like to learn more about our approach, we welcome you to book a tour and see our environment in action.

Stepping beyond our gates and into the community 🚌✨
Here’s why these experiences matter so much for children.

🤝 Building community connections
Our excursions provide children with meaningful opportunities to explore their local environment, build confidence, and develop a strong sense of belonging. These thoughtfully planned outings support children’s learning, wellbeing, and natural curiosity about the world around them.

🤍 Safety always comes first
Our team carefully maintains correct staff-to-child ratios, completes regular headcounts, and ensures every child is securely fastened into an appropriate car seat before and throughout our journeys.

📩 Enrolments are now open
If you’d love your child to be part of these enriching community experiences, we’d love to hear from you. Get in touch to find out more about enrolling with us.

The everyday moments in our centre are shaped by how educators engage with children throughout the day.

Educators are present from the moment children arrive - supporting routines, play, learning, and the small interactions that make up a child’s time here. Whether it’s during play, mealtimes, or quiet moments together, our focus is on creating a safe, familiar, and supportive environment for every child 🏡
