🚑 Our children had a wonderful opportunity to learn about the important role of paramedics during a special ambulance visit.

They explored the inside of the ambulance, spoke with the paramedic, used a stethoscope to listen to a teddy bear's heartbeat 🧸❤️, and enjoyed dressing up in paramedic uniforms and hats.

It was a fun and engaging hands-on learning experience that sparked curiosity about the people who help keep our community safe.

Protecting every child, every day... together.

At Child Australia, we use a simple shared language for child safety - *See it. Stop it. Say it.*

Drawing on best practice and evidence-based research, we developed our own initiative *See it. Stop it. Say it.* and we're rolling it out across every service we operate.

It's the standard we hold our educators to. And it's how we invite you in.

👀 𝗦𝗲𝗲 𝗶𝘁. - Our educators are trained to notice the small things, body language, a shift in mood, an interaction that doesn't quite sit right. We use an Adult Behaviour Traffic Light Framework that names what's safe, what's concerning, and what's harmful — including the boundary-blurring behaviours that often go unspoken in our sector.

🤚 𝗦𝘁𝗼𝗽 𝗶𝘁. - When something doesn't fit our standard, we interrupt early. Quietly. Firmly. Before it becomes a problem.

🗣️ 𝗦𝗮𝘆 𝗶𝘁. - We have clear escalation pathways to service leaders, to Compliance Leaders, to Senior Leaders, and where required, directly to the Regulatory Authority. Raising a concern in good faith isn't just permitted at Child Australia. It's expected, supported, and protected.

This week Our little learners explored ANZAC Day through painting, learning,baking yummy ANZAC Cookies 🍪

It has been a meaningful week filled with creativity, learning, and reflection. We are proud of how our children engaged with such an important part of Australian history ❤️🇦🇺

How time flies! Happy 9 years to Larapinta Early Learning Centre! 🎉🎉

What can you do with an egg? Ask a child and they will: roll it, open it, put something in it, paint it, hide it, look for it, share it, shake it. The possibilities are endless!
