Yesterday morning I climbed a Mountain as part of my daily non negotiable exercise day.
What stood out to me wasn’t just the magnificent view at the top, but how I got there. You don’t get to the top by doing one giant leap, you get there by taking a lot of small steps. Some easy, some hard, but all of them add up.
That’s the mindset I’m taking into 2026.
Not big dramatic leap goals. Just clear goals, backed by small, consistent actions done over time.
For me right now, daily exercise is non-negotiable through November and December. It’s one of the ways I’m practising that mindset before the year even starts, especially through the end-of-year chaos of food, drinks, and social catch-ups.
One small step. Then the next. That’s how I’m approaching 2026 🤩🙌

Nothing Else Matters 🎸
Than showing up as all of you the real, authentic you.
For years, I thought I had to keep my worlds separate the professional, structured business person and the NT girl who loves loud rock, camping and dirt bikes. Most people wouldn’t guess my favourite band is Metallica (four concerts and counting 🤘).
But I’ve learnt people don’t connect with the polished version; they connect with what’s real. When you show up as your whole self open, honest and a little vulnerable that’s when the real magic happens. ❤️
What parts of you are you still keeping hidden away?

Sometimes the s**t that breaks you is what ends up building you.
Life doesn’t always go the way you hoped. People don’t always show up how you expect. And before you know it, you’re heading down a path you never saw coming.
The universe can throw you a curve ball that hits hard and leaves you flat on your ass. But sometimes that’s exactly what you need, the universe isn’t screwing you over, life isn’t happening to you — it’s happening for you. It’s pushing you toward something better.
You can stay stuck blaming others or what went wrong, but all that does is hand your power away. The real strength comes from standing back up and owning your next move.
What feels like everything falling apart might actually be everything falling into place. Instead of seeing it as your world failing, take it as a lead that maybe there’s something bigger waiting for you.
Celebrate the start of a new chapter, look for the breadcrumbs, and embrace the struggle. This weekend I did just that. I threw a fiesta party full of colour, laughter, and gratitude for what’s ahead, because life’s too short not to celebrate the s**t you’ve survived. 🌮💃✨

What an incredible session today at the Alice Springs OBM event
Listening to Carolyn Creswell share her story “From Kitchen Table to Global Brand” was so inspiring. At just 18 she bought a tiny muesli business for $2,000 and built it into the global success we know today as Carman’s Kitchen.
What really stood out to me was her energy. Even after 32 years she still has so much passion for what she does. You could feel how much she loves her work and her people.
My three golden takeaways
✨ Passion never expires. When you truly love what you do, the spark doesn’t fade, it grows.
✨ Obsess over your customers. From the very start she made it all about the customer experience and that focus never changed.
✨ Perseverance pays off. Sixteen years of applying before she won Telstra Businesswoman of the Year. That kind of resilience is what success is built on.
To top off an already amazing day I was lucky enough to win two return flights thanks to Airnorth ✈️ I’m all ready to be on that flight lol 🤣
Feeling grateful for this community and the opportunity to learn from incredible leaders who remind us what’s possible when you back yourself.
Shift your mindset from this is happening to me to what is this here to teach me

This past year I’ve taken a big step back, and for someone who’s usually future & goal focused, that’s been difficult.
After ending a 30-year relationship that didn’t end well, I’ve been in survival mode more than “thriving” mode.
I’ll be honest, it’s been hard watching people around me charging ahead, building businesses, climbing ladders, hitting milestones… while I’ve felt like I’m stuck on the sidelines just trying to catch my breath. Some days it feels like I’ve been left behind, that I’m failing, that I’m not kicking any goals. Maybe there have been times in your life where you’ve felt the same.
But I’m giving myself a break because it’s ok to step back when you need to. Sometimes life throws challenges that knock you off course, and you need space to heal and adjust before you can push forward again. That pause doesn’t mean you’ve failed, it means you’re human.
For me, 2025 has been about closing doors, letting go of the old, and finding my footing again. My hope for 2026 is to get back on the horse, to step back into the arena with fresh energy, clearer vision, and the courage to chase down the goals I’ve put on hold.
And for anyone else who feels like they’re standing still while the world races on, you’re not alone, you’re not failing, you’re not losing the race. Your time will come too.

Yesterday in Kmart I had an incident… and took it as a lesson that not everything needs to be taken personally. We can’t control how others react, only how we choose to respond.
I was in the aisles near a mum, her daughter and husband. They were laughing, shopping, and the daughter was excited about what she was buying. At one point, the mum stopped in the middle of the aisle to look at dog beds. There wasn’t any room to go around her, so I thought I’d duck down the side aisle instead.
There was a basket on wheels in the way, and I gently moved it aside to squeeze through, it tipped over being top heavy. I quickly apologised and went to stand it back up, but the mum turned to me angrily and snapped, “What the actual f**k?” She then implied I’d pushed it at her on purpose. It hadn’t touched her and I explained it was an accident, but she kept firing back. Her daughter and husband went quiet, and the whole energy shifted.
Walking away, a few things hit me. We can’t control how others react only how we choose to show up. Perception colours everything. What kind of world must she live in to believe a stranger would deliberately try to have ill intent for no reason. And in that instant, she let anger rob her of the joy she’d just been sharing with her family.
It reminded me life is too short to hand our peace over to small moments and never let someone else’s reaction define who you know yourself to be.
