Celebrate NAIDOC Week at Acacia Hill School on Thursday, 6 August at 11:00am.

Come together to recognise and celebrate the history, culture, and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. Following the celebration, everyone is invited to enjoy a BBQ lunch.

We look forward to sharing this special occasion with our school community. ❤️💛🖤

Celebrating Success at the Alice Springs Show!

We are absolutely thrilled to celebrate the outstanding achievements of our students at this year's Alice Springs Show!

Our talented young artists earned several awards across both individual and group art categories, showcasing their creativity, hard work, and incredible artistic talents.

Individual Student Awards
Hunter Pedersen – 2nd Place
Jerick Perera – 2nd Place
Noaha Chan – 3rd Place
Grayson – 3rd Place

Class Group Art Awards also received fantastic recognition, bringing home four prizes:
1st Place – Creating a Didgeridoo
2nd Place – Collage of a Lion
3rd Place – Collage of a Giraffe
3rd Place – Bottle Caps Project

A very special thank you goes to Kam, our Art Teacher, for her incredible work in organising, coordinating, and preparing all of the students' entries. Your passion, dedication, and encouragement help our students thrive and achieve their best. We are so grateful for everything you do.

A Deadly Day of STEM Learning at Acacia Hill School!

Yesterday, we were lucky to welcome our special visitors, Vincent and Trish from DeadlyScience, who taught our students how to make Bush Soap.
Our Deadly students enjoyed learning about First Nations knowledge and how it connects with science through fun, hands on STEM activities. Vincent and Trish shared their knowledge in a way that was engaging, meaningful, and easy for our students to understand and enjoy.
