Finke Fever Hits Acacia Hill School!
A huge thank you to Clayton, Ben, and Sam for taking time out of their busy schedules to come and share their time with us. Your generosity and enthusiasm made the day truly unforgettable!
It was clear we had plenty of future Finke riders in the crowd, we could barely get them off the bikes! The smiles, excitement, and curiosity were something special to see.
Moments like these inspire dreams, fuel passion, and connect our students to the incredible events happening in our community. Thank you again for bringing the spirit of Finke to our school!

A big thank you to the Hon. Joshua Burgoyne for joining us at this week's assembly and helping present our student awards for the theme "Connected."

Our senior students did a fantastic job hosting the assembly and delighted everyone with a wonderful stick performance. Their teamwork, coordination, and ability to keep in time beautifully reflected this week's theme, demonstrating the importance of working together and staying connected.

Congratulations to all of our award recipients and thank you to everyone who helped make this assembly such a special celebration of being connected.

Our Acacia Hill students were incredibly lucky to welcome a very special visitor as part of Road Safety Week, the one and only Hector the Cat!
Hector helped our students learn important lessons about staying safe on and around our roads, including crossing safely, being visible, and always paying attention when near traffic.
A big thank you to Hector for making road safety education engaging and memorable!
Let’s keep practising what we’ve learned Stop, Look, Listen, Think!

A Special Author Visit at Acacia Hill!
Acacia Hill students enjoyed a wonderful visit from children’s author Jules Ober, who shared her beautiful books and creative storytelling techniques.
A photographic illustrator and co-author of award-winning stories, Jules captivated students with her unique use of miniature figurines to bring stories to life. Students loved exploring titles such as "Jacqueline", "Rockpooling with Pup", "Tarni’s Chance", and "The Steadfast Tin Soldier in the Land of the Yokai".

Thank you, Jules, for inspiring our young readers!
