Messy play in the Wattle Room is all about exploring, creating and having fun! Through hands-on sensory experiences, children build confidence, strengthen fine motor skills and learn about the world around them in a meaningful and engaging way.

Our Maple Room children enjoyed learning together through hands-on exploration. Working alongside their peers encourages teamwork, communication and confidence as they discover, create and learn through play.

In the Willow Room, our children explored a sensory experience using food as a play resource. Using food in sensory play provides opportunities to explore different textures, colours and smells, supporting curiosity, creativity and early learning in a hands-on way.

We are mindful of using food sustainably by , using donated items where possible, or repurposing leftovers that would otherwise go to waste. This allows children to enjoy rich sensory experiences while encouraging thoughtful and sustainable practices.

Our littlest learners in the Lilly Pilly Babies Room enjoyed exploring alongside one another through sensory play. Feeling different textures, getting messy, and sharing the experience with their peers helps build confidence, supports early learning, and encourages curiosity as they discover the world around them.

Our little learners in the Banksia Room have been busy exploring with their hands and senses! Sensory play encourages curiosity, supports brain development, strengthens fine motor skills, and helps children make sense of the world around them, all while having fun through play.

We're looking forward to a week filled with comfy pyjamas, fun learning experiences, stories, laughter and plenty of smiles. Thank you to all of our families for joining in and helping make the week extra special.

Our little scientists had so much fun exploring a colourful science experiment! 🧪🌈

After creating salt art with glue and salt, the children used pipette droppers to add liquid watercolours, watching in amazement as the colours spread and travelled through the salt. A wonderful hands-on experience that sparked curiosity, creativity and early scientific discovery!
