At Smart Tots Early Education, National Reconciliation Week invites our children, educators and families to pause, listen and connect.

Through stories, art, music and shared experiences, children begin to understand and respect Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures , the world’s oldest continuing cultures …in ways that are meaningful and age appropriate.

We believe reconciliation begins in early childhood, through curiosity, empathy and honest conversations that shape how children see and care for others.

Eid Mubarak 🌙✨ Eid ul-Adha is a special time celebrated by millions of people around the world , a time centred around faith, family, generosity and togetherness. Known as the Festival of Sacrifice, it reflects the values of compassion, gratitude and caring for others, especially those in need. From shared meals and prayer to gathering with loved ones, Eid is filled with meaningful moments, connection and joy. Wishing everyone celebrating a beautiful Eid ul-Adha filled with peace, love, laughter and cherished time with family and friends. 💛

Today we celebrate National Simultaneous Storytime, where children across Australia share the same story at the same time.

Storytelling is more than reading , it nurtures imagination, empathy, language and connection.

Through stories, children begin to understand the world, their emotions and the beauty of belonging.

Children move through inviting spaces designed to spark curiosity, imagination and connection, where learning is felt just as much as it is seen. The rustle of leaves, the texture of natural materials and the freedom to explore create experiences that are engaging, calming and deeply memorable.
