As part of National Reconciliation Week, our Goodstart Alexandra Hills community came together to create a beautiful Sea of Hearts installation.
Each heart captures the voices of our children, families and educators, sharing what reconciliation means to us. Together, these individual reflections create something powerful…a reminder that reconciliation is built through many voices, perspectives and actions.
As we walk beneath our Sea of Hearts, we are reminded that reconciliation is a journey we walk together. It is about listening, learning, respecting and building meaningful connections with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, cultures and histories.
Thank you to everyone who contributed their thoughts and reflections to this special project. We are proud to see our community's commitment to reconciliation shining brightly above us.

Today our children enjoyed celebrating Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea with a special lunch tea party 💛🧁🫖
The children had a wonderful time helping to prepare special treats and coming together to enjoy a shared tea party with their friends. Throughout the day, we spoke about kindness, helping others, caring for our community and how small acts can make a big difference.
There were lots of smiles, conversations and delicious food shared as the children enjoyed this meaningful experience together.
A huge thank you to all of our families for your generous donations and support towards this important cause. Your kindness and contributions are truly appreciated and will help make a difference in the lives of others.💛

Happy Administrative Professionals Day! 🌼🌼🌼
A big thank you to Darja for all the support she brings to our centre. Your organisation and dedication help keep everything running smoothly, we truly appreciate all that you do. 💐
We’re often asked what being not-for-profit really means for our families.
Simply put, it means that our purpose always comes before profit. Every dollar we make is reinvested back into our centres, to provide children with enriching and safe learning environments.
We understand how important it is for children to be in a place where they feel safe and settled. And when families need to make a change - planned or unexpected - we’re here to help make that transition easier.
We’re here to support families when it matters most – because every child deserves a Goodstart! ✨

Today we pause to remember and honour the courage, sacrifice and spirit of the ANZACs.
At Goodstart Alexandra Hills, we take a moment to reflect on the importance of kindness, respect and community - values that continue to shape our future.
Lest we forget. 🌺

Last night, our Educational Leader, Leanne, led a professional learning session focused on supporting children’s engagement through big movement, risky play, deconstruction play, heavy work and schema-based learning.
Educators then collaborated in room teams to share ideas and plan meaningful experiences and spaces for their environments. It was fantastic to see such thoughtful and engaging discussion across the centre.
This learning is part of our ongoing commitment to continuously reflect on and strengthen our practices, ensuring the best outcomes for children.
We can’t wait to see this come to life in our programs and outdoor environments!

We are so proud to have such amazing and thoughtful educators here at Goodstart Alexandra Hills 💚
For Nature Week, Miss Nicole has created some truly engaging and intentional play spaces in our toddler room. From beautiful nature-based provocations that invite curiosity and exploration, to transforming the role play area into a vet clinic! These experiences provide meaningful opportunities for children to learn through play 🐾🌿
Through these environments, children are encouraged to explore, imagine, care for others, and build connections with the natural world in a hands-on and engaging way.
We love seeing the wonder, creativity and learning that comes to life in these spaces ✨

🐰 Easter fun in the Toddler room! 🥕
Miss Emily created this adorable “Feed the Bunny” posting game and the children can’t get enough of it! They’ve been busy feeding carrots to the bunnies while building fine motor skills, problem-solving, turn-taking and early numeracy…all through playful Easter magic.
We love simple setups that spark big learning! 🌟Great work, Miss Emily!
