What’s on this week? 💧

🔬🌙 Learning through hands-on experiences in 2M! 🌙🔬

It’s been a busy week of exploring, investigating and learning in 2M!

📏 In Maths, students explored capacity using informal units of measurement. They investigated how much different containers could hold and compared their findings with one another.

🌙 In Science, students learnt about the different phases of the Moon and then got creative by using Oreos to model each phase! 🍪

So much hands-on learning, scientific thinking and mathematical investigation happening in 2M! ⭐️

🌱🔬 Science Week at Pebbles Playgroup! 🔬🌱

Our littlest learners got busy planting, creating and exploring during National Science Week! 🪴✨ We loved seeing curious little minds getting hands-on, discovering and learning through play.

A beautiful morning of growing, creating and having fun together! 💚

📅 Reminder: Next week’s Pebbles Playgroup will be on Thursday 27 August, alongside our Prep 2027 Play Date! We can’t wait to see you there! 🥰

Dear Parents and Carers,

We have stepped out the process below to assist parents and carers with completing the required payment through the QParents app. If you have opted to use the Back to School Boost on the consent form, this will be automatically applied. Any outstanding balance for an invoice will be notified by admin.

As part of this process, the consent form must also be completed for every student, regardless of whether your child will be participating. Parents and carers are required to select either “Give Consent” or “Deny Consent”.

Please note that paper consent forms will not be issued. All consent is to be completed electronically through QParents.

We appreciate that this is a newer process for our school and thank the many parents and carers who have already embraced and registered for QParents.

Registering for QParents is a simple process, and we are more than happy to provide assistance if you require any support along the way.

Thank you for your patience and cooperation as we continue to transition to this process.

Little G’s Shop is happening tomorrow! 🛍️💕

Prep G will be selling their beautiful handmade creations outside the office from 8:00am–8:20am. Please bring some *cash* along if you’d like to make a purchase and support their wonderful fundraising efforts.

Prep G are raising money for the Children’s Hospital Foundation and Ronald McDonald House Charities, and they have already raised an amazing $44 just from collecting poppers!🙌

Their goal is to raise $200, so let’s get around Prep G and show them how much we support their big-hearted efforts. Every little purchase helps them get closer to their goal! 💗
