𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁 𝗧𝗼𝗼𝗹 #𝟭: 𝗖𝗹𝗮𝘂𝗱𝗲
One of the AI tools we'll be exploring during our upcoming workshop is Claude.
If you've never used Claude before, think of it as an incredibly capable thinking partner for educators.
Claude can help with:
📚 Lesson planning
📝 Resource creation
📄 Summarising lengthy documents
💡 Brainstorming ideas
🎯 Creating assessment tasks
📊 Analysing information
One of the things I particularly love about Claude is its ability to work with large amounts of text and provide thoughtful, detailed responses.
Imagine uploading a curriculum document, school policy or assessment notification and having key information summarised in minutes.
Imagine generating discussion questions, differentiated activities or extension tasks without starting from scratch.
That's exactly the type of practical application we'll explore during the workshop.
And Claude is only one of the five AI tools we'll be looking at.
If you're ready to discover how AI can help make your teaching life a little easier, make sure you've registered.

𝗪𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗔𝗜 𝗥𝗲𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗿𝘀?
It's one of the most common questions I hear.
The short answer?
No.
The real opportunity isn't replacing teachers. It's helping teachers spend less time on repetitive tasks and more time doing what matters most — building relationships, inspiring learners and creating meaningful learning experiences.
In our upcoming Innovative EdTech workshop, we'll explore how educators can use AI responsibly and effectively to:
✅ Reduce administrative workload
✅ Generate teaching ideas
✅ Create learning resources
✅ Support differentiated instruction
✅ Improve productivity
✅ Enhance student engagement
We'll also discuss important best practices around privacy, accuracy, prompting and responsible use.
AI works best when combined with teacher expertise.
The goal isn't to hand teaching over to technology.
The goal is to use technology strategically so educators can focus their time and energy where it matters most.
If you've been curious about AI but unsure where to begin, I'd love you to join us.
This workshop is designed to be practical, accessible and immediately useful for educators at any level of confidence.

Let's be honest. Educators today are being asked to do more than ever before.
We are expected to personalise learning, provide timely feedback, create engaging resources, support diverse learners, communicate with families, analyse data and somehow still find time to breathe.
That's exactly why our next Innovative EdTech workshop is all about practical Artificial Intelligence tools that can genuinely help educators save time, improve efficiency and create even better learning experiences for students.
Join me for:
𝗘𝗺𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿, 𝗘𝗻𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲, 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗴𝗲: 𝗔𝗜 𝗧𝗼𝗼𝗹𝘀 𝗧𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗘𝗹𝗲𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 & 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴
During this free session, we'll explore five powerful AI tools that educators can begin using immediately to reduce repetitive workload, generate fresh ideas, support differentiation and streamline everyday teaching tasks.
This workshop is designed for classroom teachers, school leaders, support staff and anyone curious about how AI can become a practical teaching assistant rather than another thing on the to-do list.
No advanced AI knowledge required.
Just practical ideas, real examples and useful strategies you can take away and use straight away.
If you've ever wondered where to start with AI in education, this workshop is for you.

Share Messages of Kindness Through Video
A simple message of support can make a lasting difference.
This Pride Month, invite students and staff to create short videos sharing messages about inclusion, respect, belonging and kindness.
Using tools such as Google Vids or other video creation platforms, participants can record reflections, share personal commitments to inclusion or highlight ways everyone can contribute to a positive school culture.
These videos could be combined into a community showcase and shared during assemblies, newsletters or on internal school platforms.
Video projects help build communication skills while creating opportunities for authentic student and staff voice.
Most importantly, they help reinforce a message that every person deserves to feel respected, valued and included.

Explore Global Perspectives with Interactive Maps
Pride Month offers an excellent opportunity to explore how inclusion and diversity are celebrated around the world.
Using tools such as Google Earth or interactive mapping software, students can investigate Pride celebrations, historical milestones and significant locations connected to the LGBTIQA+ community.
Students might create digital map tours featuring key events, influential people or important places that have contributed to advancing equality and inclusion.
This activity integrates geography, history, citizenship and digital literacy while encouraging global awareness.
Technology can help students understand that inclusion is a worldwide conversation and that progress often comes through advocacy, understanding and community support.
Every map tells a story - and Pride Month provides many powerful stories worth exploring.

Design Pride-Inspired Infographics
Visual communication is an important skill in today's world.
This Pride Month, challenge students to create informative infographics using tools such as Canva.
Students could design posters that highlight key moments in Pride history, explain important terminology, celebrate influential role models or share ways people can support inclusive communities.
Infographics encourage students to synthesise information, identify key ideas and communicate clearly through visual design.
The completed projects can be displayed digitally, shared on school communication platforms or printed for classroom displays.
This activity combines digital literacy, creativity and respectful learning while promoting awareness and understanding throughout your school community.
Technology gives students the opportunity to become creators, advocates and informed digital citizens.

Amplify Diverse Voices Through Podcasts
Listening can be one of the most powerful ways to learn.
During Pride Month, consider using podcasts to explore diverse perspectives and experiences from the LGBTIQA+ community. Students can listen to age-appropriate episodes and reflect on key messages through collaborative digital activities.
Better still, invite students to create their own podcast episodes using simple tools such as Spotify for Creators or audio recording software.
Students might interview community members, discuss themes of inclusion, explore historical events or highlight inspiring individuals who have contributed to society.
Podcasting encourages communication, research, collaboration and critical thinking while providing a platform for meaningful conversations.
Giving students opportunities to listen to and share diverse stories helps build empathy and strengthens inclusive school cultures.

Create a Pride Month QR Code Trail
Looking for an engaging way to celebrate Pride Month around your school?
Why not create a Pride Month QR Code Trail?
Place QR codes around your school that link to videos, biographies, podcasts, articles and resources celebrating LGBTIQA+ individuals, events and achievements. Students can scan codes during break times, homeroom activities or as part of a structured learning task.
Each station could focus on a different theme, such as Australian advocates, historical milestones, famous athletes, artists, musicians or scientists from the LGBTIQA+ community.
This simple activity encourages curiosity, promotes student-led learning and allows participants to engage with content at their own pace.
Educational technology can help transform hallways, libraries and learning spaces into interactive environments that celebrate diversity while building knowledge and understanding.
