Mrs Trish Pearce and the Stage 5 Food Technology students did an outstanding job hosting today's Biggest Morning Tea for staff. Their hard work and creativity were on display through a wonderful selection of homemade sweet and savoury treats enjoyed by all.
Thanks to the generosity of our school community, the current count raised in support of the Cancer Council stands at $2,772, with donations still coming in.
An excellent result that will make a meaningful difference to an important cause. ❤

This morning, our Performing Arts and Music students enjoyed performing for a local Probus Club, sharing a morning of music and entertainment with members of the community.
Students presented a variety of performances from choirs and rock bands to solo performances. They did a wonderful job showcasing what they have been working on. It was a great chance for them to perform in front of an audience and gain valuable experience.
We are very proud of the effort, enthusiasm and confidence they showed throughout the performance.

♻️ Today our Year 3 students enjoyed a visit from Halve Waste, where they learned about the impact of waste and recycling on our environment and discovered practical ways to reduce waste at home and school.
Through fun games and discussions, students explored the journey of waste and how to make sustainable choices. This learning will be brought to life even further as students visit the Albury Waste Management Centre this week to see firsthand what happens to our waste and recycling.
A big thank you to Halve Waste for providing this valuable educational opportunity and inspiring our students to become environmentally responsible citizens. 🌏💚

Last week, our College community came together to mark National Reconciliation Week with a whole-school walk and special presentations from Philip Green in the Junior School.
There has also been plenty happening across the College, with work commencing on the new K–2 playground, Gail and her dog Finn visiting Kindergarten students to discuss responsible pet ownership, and our Year 11 students launching their Relay For Life fundraising campaign with a highly successful bake sale. We also congratulate our U15 Boys Soccer Team on securing their place in the Riverina Grand Final.
We hope you enjoy catching up on the latest news, achievements and events from across the College in this edition of our newsletter.

What a fantastic effort from our Year 11 students!
Yesterday, they hosted a bake sale to kick off their Relay For Life fundraising campaign, showcasing their generosity, initiative and commitment to making a difference.
Thanks to the incredible support of our Junior School students and wider College community, the bake sale was a complete sell-out, raising more than $1,500 for cancer research, support services and prevention programs.
We are incredibly proud of our Year 11 students for the hard work and enthusiasm they put into this fundraising effort, and grateful to everyone who purchased a treat and supported the cause.
If you would like to support their fundraising efforts and help them make an even greater impact, donations can still be made via the link below. Every contribution, big or small, is greatly appreciated.

⚽ Grand Final Bound! ⚽
Congratulations to our U15 Boys Soccer team, who have secured their place in the Riverina Grand Final with a strong 2–0 victory over Deniliquin High School in Deniliquin.
Goals from Lucas Mordecai and Jack Steinhauser helped seal the win, while Cooper Scott played a crucial role in defence, effectively shutting down the opposition's biggest attacking threat.
A fantastic team effort and a well-deserved result. We wish the boys all the best for the Grand Final!

🐾 Learning about Responsible Pet Ownership 🐾
On Tuesday, our Kindergarten students welcomed a very special visitor to their classrooms – Finn the Golden Retriever and his owner, Gail.
As part of their Responsible Pet Ownership learning, students explored how to stay safe around dogs and learned valuable skills including:
🐶 When dogs should be left alone
🐶 How to recognise whether a dog is happy, frightened or angry
🐶 Safe ways to approach and greet a dog
🐶 What to do if approached by an unfamiliar or aggressive dog
🐶 Behaviours that can make dogs feel uncomfortable or unsafe
The highlight for many students was the opportunity to gently pat beautiful Finn and put their learning into practice. A big thank you to Gail and Finn for sharing their time and helping our students develop important lifelong safety skills.
