We returned to On the Border Community Market for our first market of the season :-D We just love sharing our shimmies with the community, and this year we have our musicians joining us as well. Plus we got some all-important sewing and laughs in there too!

When a bellydance friend comes to town on dance night, whaddya do? Ask her to the studio, of course! We were absolutely privileged to have the wonderful Rachel Bond share her knowledge with the troupe last night. We got a taster of Turkish Romani and Iraqi Raqs el Kawleeya - the dance, the music and the culture - and it was fantastic 😁 plus we have lots of resources to follow up with, thanks so much Rach!!

Our dancers are braving the cold for our winter project. First week in and we're already loving reimagining some of our favourite pieces with a Renfaire flavour, huzzah!

Sam's little girl is also enjoying a special night out for the school holidays and proving she's got her mama's dancing genes 😍

Sam might have been homebound due to an injury, but thanks to the wonderful team at the Australian Belly Dance Convention we were still able to cover the deep and intricate topic of terminology at BellyCon26 on Sunday.

This has been an interest of Sam's for almost two and a half decades and the presentation was the culmination of that long journey plus six months of very intense research. How we managed to contain it to an hour was a miracle!

Thank you to everyone who participated. Use your research and your conscience to find your approach and let's keep the conversation going as we continue to make progress on this important topic ❤️

We've got so many awesome things to share at the moment but this one has to be next!

Nancy & Sammy are a very special duo in our dance family - they've been with us since 2022 and we love them both to bits ❤️

The 24 Hour Hafla in Beechworth was their first retreat and they performed this super-cute version of the Witches Dance. We all loved it!!
