YEAR 11 FARM CASE STUDY EXCURSION
Recently the Year 11 Agriculture class travelled to Culcairn to meet Cam and Bianca Schultz of "Claverton" farm. Students interviewed the farmers and collected information to use for a case study report assessment task. AUSSIE SELECTION: Congratulations to Sienna on her selection to represent Australia at her first Commonwealth Games in Glasgow and her first Senior Pan Pacific Championships in Irvine, California.
This is a remarkable achievement and a testament to Siennaβs dedication, hard work and outstanding performances in the pool. To earn selection on two senior Australian teams is an incredible milestone and one that reflects years of commitment from both Sienna and her support network.
Pictured with Sienna are her NSW/ACT Performance Hub coaches, Shannon and Laura, who have played an important role in her development. A special shout out must also go to her home club coach, Miss Shirley, whose guidance and support have been instrumental throughout Siennaβs journey over the last year.
At the Australian Trials, Sienna delivered outstanding performances across her three breaststroke events, winning gold in both the 50m and 100m (PB) Breaststroke and claiming bronze in the 200m (PB) Breaststroke. Her results have also provided the opportunity to be selected as part of Australiaβs Medley Relay team.
Albury High School was also proudly represented by Isabelle, who competed in all three breaststroke events at the Australian Trials.
Isabelle produced strong performances against the nation's best swimmers, placing 17th in the 50m Breaststroke and 21st in both the 100m and 200m Breaststroke events.
Following the team announcement last night, athletes were able to celebrate with family and friends on pool deck β a wonderful tradition that recognises the invaluable support provided by those who help make these achievements possible.
Everyone at Albury High School is immensely proud of what Sienna has accomplished and excited to see her compete on the international stage. We also congratulate Isabelle on her outstanding performances and representation of both Albury High School and the North Albury Swimming Club at the national level.
Glasgow and California await, with a quick stop in Germany for a staging camp along the way.
We canβt wait to watch you shine in the green and gold, Sienna! π¦πΊππ

HEY TEACHER! LEAF THOSE KIDS ALONE. ππ
Agriculture is not always at the farm. Mrs Lee's Y7 class spent some time at the front of the school during their lesson to collect the Autumn leaves. These are usually added to our compost bays but we also collect dry leaves to use as bedding in our chicken pens. Thank you to Craig one of our General Assistants for getting the piles ready for pick up by Y7 students. Thank you Y7 for "branching" out from our normal Ag lesson too!
