After a couple weeks off with bodywork for Stella we went to the Albury Show!
She did a fantastic job but so so many distractions that upset her a little bit which I don’t blame her. We ended up leaving early and missing out on the champion class as they decided to put the carriage horses right next to us, and Stella has never seen that before. So we got off and left but still very proud of her effort for a long morning in the stinking heat!!

That’s 2 Reserve Champions for her and I couldn’t be anymore happy with her!

Corowa Show today!

Today wasn’t our best day, Stella had a couple moments, and we almost got kicked but she soldiered through it and despite all the distractions she still did very well and brought home a few ribbons. We also reached a goal by getting Reserve Champion and I’m over the moon I nearly cried hahah!

This week Stella and I went to the Culcairn Show and Walbundrie Show.

Unfortunately I found Culcairn to be pretty awfully ran and definitely some rude people but Stella tried her heart out and came home with a first and second.

Walbundrie today was great, supportive people and genuinely nice and Stella has come home with 3 first and a second ribbon.

No matter the show the judges have always been amazing, and happy to answer questions. Stella always gets many compliments (obviously she’s the queen) and ribbons or not she never ceases to make me proud!

News At Five - Brian

Brian is roughly 15.1hh unmeasured thoroughbred. 6yo
Brian has been with me since he retired from racing and has been an absolute pleasure to have on the farm. He’s a very big smooch that will follow you around all day if he could! He’s only had a couple rides since being with me but unfortunately due to lack of feed, too many horses and that he’s just a little bit too short for me I’ve decided to try find his perfect home.
He will excel in anything, but due to only having a couple rides he’s best suited to an experienced rider.

I do have a vet report from when he finished racing which is available to those serious about buying.
