🎸 RockCon – Music for Everyone! 🎶
RockCon is our inclusive weekly band program for people of all abilities, including participants with high support needs.
Working in small groups with experienced tutors, participants can:
🎤 Learn and perform
🎸 Explore a range of instruments
🎵 Create their own original music
🥁 Build confidence, teamwork and performance skills
😊 Connect with others in a fun, welcoming and supportive environment
💜 NDIS funding may be available.

Spanning 500 years of musical history, Treble Makers is a select ensemble of advanced recorder players bringing an extraordinary range of music to life.
From the lively dances of the Renaissance through to contemporary original works and arrangements by living composers, this is recorder playing well beyond what you might expect!

Are you a Murray Con student aged 13-20 with ideas about what you'd like to see happening at the Con?
Applications are now open to join the Murray Conservatorium Youth Council!
The Youth Council gives our young people a voice in the future of Murray Con. Members have the opportunity to:
🌟 Share their ideas and opinions
🎶 Advocate for students
💡 Help develop new projects and activities
🤝 Work together as a team
📣 Represent young people within the Conservatorium
🌱 Build leadership, teamwork and organisational skills
You don't need to be an advanced musician — applications are welcome from current Murray Con students at all stages and levels of musical development.
The Youth Council will meet twice each term at Murray Con to contribute and learn through projects, student advocacy and bringing young people's ideas directly to the organisation.
If you're enthusiastic, have ideas and would like to help shape what happens at your Con, we'd love you to apply!

ConKids!
Tuesday 4:30-5pm
Spark a lifelong love of music in this fun and engaging beginner class designed especially for children aged 4–7. Through singing, movement, rhythm games, and hands-on exploration of musical instruments, children will build confidence while learning the foundations of music.
They'll discover beats, rhythms, melodies, and basic musical concepts in a playful, supportive environment that encourages creativity and participation.
No previous music experience is needed—just curiosity, enthusiasm, and a love of making music!

It's Showtime!

Sing, move, and bring the magic of musical theatre to life!
From iconic classics to today's biggest Broadway hits, our classes are all about building confidence, developing performance skills, and having fun.
We will learn a mix of singing, dance, acting and performing as a whole, with a performance at the end of every term! Whether you're here for enjoyment or exploring a future on the stage, you'll find a place to learn, grow, and shine.

Theory in Motion brings music theory to life through practical, creative music-making. Rather than learning theory from a workbook alone, students explore concepts such as rhythm, harmony, scales and chord progressions by applying them through improvisation, ensemble playing, composition and listening. Designed for curious musicians of all styles, this engaging ensemble builds confidence, creativity and a deeper understanding of music in a fun, supportive environment.

High School Jam

High School Jam is a contemporary band for high school students from years 10-12 looking to regularly perform at local events.
It’s an opportunity to network with local musicians, collaborate in creating originals and arranging covers to develop creativity and self-expression. The band will also learn how to create demos and prepare for studio recording.
