Reminder to Dog Owners

We kindly ask community members to avoid walking their dogs on our school grounds and instead use one of the many suitable public spaces available in our community.

Our school grounds are used by students every day for learning, play, sport and recreation. Unfortunately, dog waste can pose health and hygiene risks for children and staff, even when it is not immediately visible.

We appreciate the support of our community in helping us maintain a safe, clean and welcoming environment for all students. By choosing alternative locations to walk dogs, you are helping to ensure our grounds remain a safe place for children to learn and play.

Changes to Our School page
Dear Parents and Carers,
To ensure we continue to communicate with families in a safe, secure and effective way, our school will be changing how we use our page.

From this term, the school page will be used solely for sharing important information, reminders, events and community notices. We will no longer post photographs, videos or student success stories on Facebook.

All student celebrations, classroom highlights, learning experiences and photographs will instead be shared through Seesaw, our secure communication platform. This ensures that student information and images are shared directly with parents and carers in a protected environment rather than on a public social media platform.

This change reflects our commitment to protecting student privacy and ensuring that information about students is shared appropriately and securely.

We encourage all families to regularly check Seesaw to stay connected with your child's learning and to celebrate the wonderful achievements taking place across our school.

Mount Lockyer Primary School is excited to be taking part in National Pyjama Day through The Pyjama Foundation!

Come to school dressed in your favourite pyjamas and bring along a gold coin donation to help support The Pyjama Foundation, an incredible organisation that provides learning, mentoring and support for children living in foster care.

Can’t bring cash? No worries! You can also make an online donation by scanning the QR code on the poster!

Let’s fill our school with comfy PJs, warm hearts, and kindness as we come together to make a real difference. We can’t wait to see everyone’s cosy outfits! 🧸✨
