The Albany Basketball Association is still welcoming returning and new players to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) for the 2026/2027 season.

Returning Players:
If you were aligned with an affiliated club last season, your club will be in touch with you regarding your interest in playing again this season.

Looking for a Club?
If you’re new to Albany, new to basketball, or looking for a new club to play for, simply complete the EOI form. You can nominate your Club Preference or select No Preference, and the Albany Basketball Association will help connect you with an affiliated club.

DFES Emergency Preparedness Incursion 🚒🔥

Students from Rooms 8, 9 and 11 enjoyed a hands-on fire safety incursion with DFES and the Albany Fire and Rescue crew.

They learnt about emergency preparedness, explored the fire trucks and equipment, and even had a turn using the fire hose! The visit supported learning about personal safety, emergency responses and the important role of community services.

A huge thank you to the crew for sharing their knowledge and creating such a memorable experience for our students!

If your child is currently attending Kindy at Spencer Park Primary School, please remember that their enrolment does not automatically carry over to Pre-primary for 2027.

A new enrolment application must be completed for 2027.

Congratulations to Arlo, Ashton, Lexie, Jeremiah, Isaiah and Renee ✨

These superstars demonstrate ACCEPT in their classroom, playground and community.

In our SPPS community, we are all learning to accept that others have different ideas, opinions, likes, dislikes and abilities to us.

🥾🌿 Luke Penn Walk 🌿🥾

What an amazing adventure! Mrs Roberts has created this fantastic video capturing our students having a wonderful time on their 10km Luke Penn Walk.

Every student made it from start to finish, showing plenty of determination and resilience along the way. They returned to school exhausted—but very proud of their achievement!

🥾🌿 And they’re off!

Our Year 5 and 6 students have just begun the beautiful Luke Pen Walk. The weather is on our side as they set off on this long—but very scenic—hike!

We hope everyone has a fantastic day exploring the great outdoors. 🌤️🌳
