2 Day Bread Masterclass….

That’s a wrap!
Hugely successful back to back ‘Bread & Pastry Workshop’ weekends completed & once again, our guests departed each day with boxes of freshly baked treats to enjoy at home. MASSIVE thanks to our guest baker Jack who shared his sourdough knowledge & take home starters with each guest 🙏

A highlight of the weekend is always the laughter & chats whilst enjoying fresh scones & Elmstock tea for Sunday afternoon smoko 🫖

Well done to our guests who created an abundance of recipes showcasing WA grown ‘Risen’ flours/grains, whilst utilising our fabulous Smeg stoves/ovens/steam ovens/blast chiller/proving ovens & small appliances.

2 DAY BREAD & PASTRY WEEKEND…

This past weekend has seen our class attendees prepare 26 recipes across 2 days, created with ‘Risen Flour’ (wheat grown and milled in WA) + local ‘Yard 86’ full cream milk and ‘Piacun’ Eggs 🥚

Our guests enjoyed lunch each day, freshly baked scones with homemade salted butter + clotted cream and also took home their sample boxes on day 1 & 2 to share… such a fabulous carb overload was baked and so many new techniques and tips shared!

Many, many thanks to guest baker Jack who shared his knowledge of ‘all things sourdough’ with our guests and huge appreciation for the starter made by Jack for each class guest to then take their jars home….
Frederick and Jack also turned local wheat in to freshly milled flour which was then used in our class🥐 🍞 🥖

One of our most popular classes as Frederick shares tips how to create the perfect Paella, various share/Tapas dishes and we conclude with delicious homemade churros.....

We have run this class many times and this June class will be our last Spanish class for a little while so jump on and secure a place before it fills....
