Our Year 9 and 10 Hospitality students headed to Rustlers for a hands-on career taster.

From enjoying a delicious steak burger lunch to crafting their own hot drinks, they got a real taste of what a future in cookery and hospitality could look like! 🥩✨

⚽ 🥅 Our Year 7 and 8 students represented ACC brilliantly at the Interschool Soccer Carnival, showing incredible teamwork, skill, and sportsmanship across every match! ✨

A massive thank you to our amazing coaches and staff for guiding and cheering on our players. We are super proud of the effort displayed on the field by each of our teams, and how they represented our school so well! 👏🌟🙌

🎓 Children’s University Adventures! 🎓

Our University of Western Australia Children’s University students had an exciting lunchtime visit from Natalie Jarvis, sharing all about their amazing learning adventures and achievements.

The students were fitted with their graduation regalia, ready for their Children’s University graduation next term. Such a wonderful way to celebrate curiosity, learning and all the experiences that happen beyond the classroom!

We can’t wait to see them graduate! 🎓✨

🌊🏄‍♀️Last Friday, Annabelle, Melody, Jax, and Malachi represented ACC at the 2026 Surfing WA School Surfing Titles State Final at Trigg Beach, competing against 29 of the top school teams in the state!

A massive shoutout to Jax and Malachi, who made it all the way to the semi-finals in the Senior Bodyboarding division! ACC was the only school from the Great Southern region to reach a final! 🏆🔥

Annabelle and Mel also put in an awesome performance on the waves, just missing out on a semi-final spot.

We are so proud of all four students for their skills, grit, and incredible representation of our school. Go ACC! 🌟👏

🌺🌺 Our Year 8 students have been getting creative in the art room, crafting beautiful three-layered clay poppies across a two-part project: ✨
Lesson 1: Hand-building their multi-layered poppies out of raw clay. 🎨
Lesson 2: Painting and bringing their flowers to life with rich colors.

Inspired by the symbol of Remembrance Day, each unique piece will soon be mounted on a garden stake to form a collaborative group sculpture in the upcoming garden along the demountable classrooms. 🪴

Mrs. Pitmanik is incredibly proud of the care, effort, and enthusiasm the students poured into their work. We can't wait to see the final sculpture installed once the new garden is established! 👏🌟

Elite Pursuits Program (EPP) Update - Huge congratulations to Melina Dimitriadou-Pierce (Yr 9) who won the All Ages 2km Open water Sprint at the Oceanman Global Series event in Greece, where she was the first female to cross the line with a time of 28:59 sec, almost 2 minutes ahead of the second female competitor and 4th in the overall race, of over 400 swimmers. This has given her a ticket to the World Finals Open Water Championships in November in the Caribbean. Go Melina!

Also just on the weekend, she won the Lake Trichonida 5km Open Race. It is wonderful seeing your hard work and commitment paying off on the world stage Melina, we are right behind you!
