BREAKING: More than 6,500 Queensland students will get to explore the Great Barrier Reef thanks to an exciting new initiative launched by the Palaszczuk Government.
Each year, thousands of Queensland kids travel interstate for school excursions but many haven’t had the chance to experience the beauties of their own backyard.
We want as many students as possible to experience the Reef and understand its importance - and we also want to support tourism operators who have been doing it tough.
That’s why we’re providing up to $150 for eligible students to get to the Great Barrier Reef from Cooktown to Bundaberg starting in Term 3 this year 🐠🐟🐬
All primary and secondary Queensland schools can apply. More information will be published on www.dtis.qld.gov.au or you can register for updates by emailing [email protected].
