Illusions 2 Whitsundays

For those of you who remember diving with us at Blue Pearl and having the Yellow tail fusiliers following us.....they were still there and still follow me!!!! 🥰

It was so good to see old friends still there. 1st dive since we sold Illusions 2 back in Nov 2021. Took it quiet as had been told not to dive after getting Covid at start of 2022 and having lung damage. But felt great to back in the water!!!

It has been just over a year since we sold Illusion 2 - the longest running day snorkeling and diving business in the Whitsundays. We have missed it every day, and missed you all too!

Today was our first day going for a dive since Nov 21 - Two Dive Instructors taking each other for a refresher in the swimming pool. LOL

Hope you have all had a safe year and are looking forward to 2023!

We both got Covid at the start of the year, mild symptoms but we still don’t feel 100%, exercise tolerance not back to normal yet.

Naomi had a spirometry test yesterday and failed. She had to take Ventalin to pass it, having never had to do this in the yearly Commercial Dive Medicals over the last 13 years. We are waiting to find out if this means she is not fit to dive.
