A huge congratulations to Proserpine State High School Grade 12 students who completed a defensive driving course with us over the past few weeks! We wish you nothing but success as you move into the next chapter of your lives.

A special thank you to Proserpine State High School, Rotary Airlie Beach, Whitsunday Regional Council, Proserpine State High school's Parents and Citizens' Association, who made this course possible, their support allows us to continue delivering valuable programs like this for our young people in the community.

We're proud to have partnered with Whitsunday Regional Council, the Rotary Club of Airlie Beach and our school's Parents and Citizens' Association to deliver a Defensive Driving Course for our Year 11 and 12 students. 🚗

Students focused on hazard perception, vehicle handling, and safe decision-making under pressure – skills considered essential for reducing risks on the road.

Adding a meaningful local connection, the course was facilitated by our former graduate Declan Coull, who has since established himself in the field of driver education as Director of Advanced Defensive Driving Australia.

Well done to all who engaged in this valuable opportunity and a big thank you once again to our community stakeholders for joining us in investing in our youth to keep them safe on the roads. 👏

If you are under the age of 25 and wish to become a better, safer driver, our FULL DAY, hands on Young Drivers Defensive Driving Course is for you. (our course includes practical, in car excercises and theory sessions)
Join us on 30th August to develop your car control skills, collision avoidance skills and your understanding of vehicles and vehicle dynamics.
Bookings are essential (training numbers per day are limited for safety and quality of training). P plate licence holders and L plate licence holders are welcome.

Advanced and Defensive Driving Australia continuing its RYDA Road Safety Program instruction tour across Northern and Central Queensland. Our Advanced and Defensive driving instructor, Declan Coull, has helped to facilitate the program to over 600 students so far this week, including year 10 and 11 students from Proserpine State High School, Moranbah State High School and Mackay - thanks to all the wonderful participants!

Due to high demand Mackay and the Whitsundays only local Defensive Driving company, Advanced and Defensive Driving Australia - ADDA, have decided to commence our planned 2025 second semester of the MACKAY Young Drivers Defensive Driving Course ASAP.
