Imentet (Ament, Amentet or Imentit, meaning "She of the West") was a goddess in ancient Egyptian religion representing the necropolises west of the Nile.
She was the consort of Aqen, a god who guided Ra through parts of the underworld. Although she was never officially worshipped, she was mentioned in various hymns and passages of the Book of the Dead.

Welcome to Gustavo Olitta's Masterclass on Buugeng, Partner Techniques, and Flowstands!

BUUGENG; You will dive deep into the BASICS & KEY MOVEMENTS OF BUUGENG with Gustavo Ollitta; This workshop delves into Manipulation Techniques – an exploration of the beautiful patterns and dynamic geometries that can be created using S Staff or Buugeng (From the Japanese 'Buu' = optical illusion, 'geng' = martial arts)
You Will be able to learn all the concepts of 1 & 2 beats, fingerspin, liquid weave and much more!

PARTNER TECHNIQUES; create routines and tricks that you can imply for a duo show ( class available for poi, buugeng and hula hoop)
What the student must bring/ must know before joining the workshop:
The student must have passed on the poi and buugeng workshop or have enough acknowledge
on 2 and 4 beats weave, inwards and outwards movements to come for this class as it requires to
know already those previous tricks.
Bring your own flow friend and if not be open to play with someone else during the workshop.
If you are interested on learning during the partner workshop hula hoop and poi partner
techniques, equipment will be available at Dragon Mill Studio to use during the class.

Learn how to incorporate Inversions with flow arts!
Learn how to do handstands or how to improve your technique on handstands and how to add
flow arts on your training, making even more fun this practice!
What the student must bring/ must know before joining the workshop:
if you’re planning to flow with a prop during your inversion, bring it so we can explore together !

Hesat is an ancient Egyptian goddess in the form of a cow. She was said to provide humanity with milk (called "the beer of Hesat") and in particular to suckle the pharaoh and several ancient Egyptian bull gods. In the Pyramid Texts she is said to be the mother of Anubis and of the deceased king. She was especially connected with Mnevis, the living bull god worshipped at Heliopolis, and the mothers of Mnevis bulls were buried in a cemetery dedicated to Hesat. In Ptolemaic times (304–30 BC) she was closely linked with the goddess Isis.[1]
