They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old;
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them.
Lest we forget.

Kindness, compassion and service to others. We reflected as a school community on these values during Holy Week.
Happy Easter 💜
Jesus is Risen. Alleluia. Alleluia.

It was a morning of hot field Hockey action in PE.
Through a series of progressive lessons, every student is learning how to control the ball, move safely in space, work as a team and use simple strategies in game play.
Here Year 3 are learning to push pass the ball to one another and trap the ball to stop.

There’s lots of drama in Term One! Thanks to professional actor, Chris Asimos. Students have been learning how to develop characters in action.
Here a Years One & Two class perform a tableau by posing silently to create a living picture. It’s part of their story telling syllabus with a beginning scene, middle and resolution.

Children learn best when they explore real data they’ve collected themselves. When learning is connected to their own world, it’s more meaningful and helps build strong numeracy and critical thinking skills.
In our Data & Statistics maths unit, these Year One and Two students have been busy gathering info, using tallies and graphing their findings. They loved becoming classroom researchers. And what did they discover? 🌞 is the most popular season in class and 🍇 the most favourite fruit.

Who am I? Our Reception classes have begun an inquiry about themselves. They are starting to explore their identity and what makes them special.
Using mirrors, students observed their faces carefully and took part in an observational drawing activity. They chatted about the similarities and differences they noticed in their reflections.
Starting with black outline sketches of themselves, they have added colour to their drawings to develop their portraits. This inquiry learning supports self-awareness, observation and confidence in expression through art.

It’s Monday morning in Reception and time for literacy.
Students were asked to think about what they did on the weekend then draw a picture in their workbook. This develops their ‘recount’ skills. With support from their teacher, referencing their picture, they also write about their weekend.
