The 2026 Adelaide Challenger Cup
Taekwondo Championship was a fantastic event!
Congratulations to all athletes, coaches, referees, and clubs across South Australia for an amazing turnout of nearly 100 participants. It was great to see the strong performances, improvement, and sportsmanship from Just Kicks TKD, Tactics TKD, Adelaide TKD, Lee's TKD, Compound TKD, RT Xtreme TKD, and host club Total Taekwondo Academy.
Special thanks to our SA referees, Ali Rahimi from VIC, senior black belts, volunteers, first aid team, and supportive parents for making this event possible.
Well done to all athletes for your hard work and valuable competition experience. Let's keep the momentum going!

What a journey it has been so far!
Representing Australia for the fourth time at the World Taekwondo Championship is not an easy path - it's a dream.
A dream that fuels us with motivation, gives us energy, and brings us one step closer to turning it into reality.
We are truly grateful to live in such an amazing country and to be surrounded by incredible support. We feel lucky to have so many friends, mentors, and supporters standing with us throughout this journey.
We believe in ourselves — and we will achieve this dream.
Maybe not this time, but our time will come.

Junior World Championship Selection – Done & Dusted 🇦🇺

The Junior World Championship selection has officially wrapped up, and it was an honour to be part of the World Junior Selection event in Sydney.

We had only one athlete representing our club, and with an outstanding performance, Akon Baak successfully qualified to represent Australia for the fourth time in a row. An incredible achievement and a true reflection of her dedication, discipline, and commitment.

We are extremely proud of Akon for making the most of every opportunity and moment in her Taekwondo journey. She has now been officially selected to represent Australia at the World Junior Championships in Uzbekistan later this year 🇺🇿🥇.

A big thank you to everyone who has been part of this journey so far—especially Akon’s family for their constant support and encouragement. Special thanks also to Pathway Performance Program – Australia Taekwondo, all friends and coaches involved, Fight HQ, and everyone who has supported and sponsored this journey.

On behalf of Total Taekwondo Academy, we would like to extend our sincere gratitude and congratulations to everyone who has been part of our journey in 2025. Tonight's program was a wonderful opportunity to celebrate our shared achievements and bring our community together. The evening was truly phenomenal and unforgettable.
We sincerely thank all our members, families, and friends for their continued support and for joining us on this special occasion.
