Have you ever heard about the "Weiße Rose"? It was a a non-violent resistance group in the Third Reich, led by a group of students at the University of Munich.
Now Christoph Probst, one of the resistance fighters of the "Weiße Rose", was honoured on the occasion of his 100th birthday with the naming of a barracks in Germany:
Späte Ehre für Widerstandskämpfer
Eine späte Ehre für den 1943 hingerichteten Widerstandskämpfer: Christoph Probst, Mitglied der Gruppe „Weiße Rose“ ist nun Namenspatron einer Bundeswehrkaserne. Dass die bisher namenslose Kaserne nach ihm benannt wird, war ein Wunsch der Soldaten.
