It was with great pleasure that we welcomed Brett Shuttleworth from Community Languages Schools of South Australia. Al-Salam Arabic School was beautifully celebrated and we look forward to continuing to work alongside CLSSA.

This year started greatly at Al-Salam Arabic School with students and teachers returning to classes. Our students are starting on a high note especially the SACE students who have already submitted drafts and are awaiting teachers’ feedback. Our Junior students are enjoying their new experiences and are building new friendships within their Arabic School Community. Enjoy this week’s snaps😇

Our lovely staff have been very busy these past few weeks preparing fun and educational activities for our students. 😄

Here are some highlights of the past few weeks…
Students in level 3 were split into two teams to create as much words, using only the letters given. They all had 15 minutes! Team A won!

Many classes took part in interactive learning, our younger levels used sensory play with play dough and shaped them in the form of the Arabic letter that they are learning. Older classes used brick blocks stacked on top of each other and slowly started pulling them out one by one and sounding out the three letter words as they took turns!

Alsalamu Alaykum friends and families, in the first two weeks of Term 2, our students are showing amazing progress!

Our younger levels are continuing to learn the Arabic alphabet, connecting letters to create short words and even sounding the vowels (harakat). Quran recitation and memorisation continues to be a very important lesson at Al-Salam Arabic School and we know our students enjoy it very much 😄

Happy Mother’s Day to one of the most beautiful creations of Allah SWT.

Yesterday was a day full of joy for our students at Al-Salam Arabic School. They prepared special cards for their mums and enjoyed the other aspects of their learning.

To all our beautiful mums we hope that you got spoiled today 🥰

It’s been a great couple weeks at Al-Salam Arabic School. Our students have been demonstrating a lot of progress in learning in their classrooms and their teachers are so very proud of them. We have been having some great weather lately and our younger levels have been participating in some outdoor activities. Pre-SACE and SACE classes are actively working towards completing some of their first assignments, we can’t wait to see what the year has in store for them 😁

We are very excited to be back to teaching Arabic at Al-Salam Arabic School 📚

We hope that everyone had a great holiday. It was great hearing what our students got up to despite our challenging days. Our students have come back to enthusiastic teachers who are ready to put in the hard work to make this teaching year a good one 😁

Salam Alaykum friends and family, what an amazing year we have had at Al-Salam Arabic school. We have enjoyed watching our students learn and grow and become skilful individuals 😊

To celebrate the end of a successful learning year, we decided to reward our students with a day in the sun! The amazing weather and the smiles on the students faces made our whole year 💗

We look forward to seeing everyone back again next year and we truly hope that you all have a relaxing holiday 😁
