Everyone clear your calendars, or you might miss our biggest and most anticipated event of the year: the AUScA 2026 SciBall!

This year’s theme is A Night In Bloom, so think soft florals and earthy or natural tones 🍃🌲

The ball will be held at the Adelaide Pavilion on Saturday the 17th of October, from 7:00 pm to midnight.

Your ticket includes:
🍽️ A formal dinner and dessert
🍷 Open bar (beer, wine, juice, soft drinks)
🎞️ Unlimited photo booth access
📸 Professional photos of the event
🪩 A super awesome fun time

What’s more stressful, studying for exams or waiting for results?

The AUScA x WISTEMS x AUBN SWOTVAC study session was a a huge success this semester if we do say so ourselves! A massive thank-you to all of you who came and locked in, to everyone across all the committees, and above all, thank you to the academics who took time out of their busy schedules to help their students out! Thank you also to Computer Science Club, Adelaide University for sharing the space with us on the second day 🙂‍↕️

We hope your hard work this semester has paid off, and that your results are the ones you were hoping for! And if you still have more exams to sit, as ‘Cheermander’ says (see the last slide!), you got this!!

In week 9, AUScA took you under the sea for our 2026 annual charity quiz night! Thanks to everyone that attended, we raised a grand total of $516.29 for Ozfish Unlimited🐟

Congratulations to everyone who gave it their best effort, and we want to give a special shoutout to the following winning teams:

Only 1 week left before our annual charity quiz night! This years theme is under the sea 🦀🐙🦀

Get your team together, grab a ticket from the link in our bio, and get ready for your chance to win all kinds of prizes 🎉🎉🎉

Procesids from the night will go straight to the not-for-profit organisation ‘Ozfish SA’, that partners with recreational fishers to protect and restore Australian aquatic habitats, and are leading efforts to reduce the impact of ongoing harmful algal blooms in South Australia caused by Karenia algae 🐟. Complementary pizza is provided with your ticket. Make sure to bring your A-game to secure that first-place prize!

Costumes are not required, but there will be a prize for the best dressed team!
