On Friday, August 7th, our Kalinka Seniors proudly brought the skills and dances they’ve been working so hard on to the "Road to Dance” Open Class-Concert at the Adelaide Russian Club. 💃❤️

Join the Kalinka Seniors for a special evening of folk dance at our Open Class Concert at the Russian Community Centre 's Adelaide Russian Club!

Our dancers have been working hard to prepare a vibrant performance showcasing traditional dances from across Russia and Belarus, along with performances by our talented soloists and ensemble. This concert is also a chance to preview some of the routines we'll be performing at the South Australian Stage ans Dance Society Eisteddfod later this year.

💙 Entry is FREE!

We'll also be holding a fundraiser on the night, with delicious sweet and savoury treats available to purchase, plus a raffle with fantastic prizes. Every dollar raised from these items helps support our dancers by contributing towards costumes, dance props and keeping the tradition of Russian folk dancing alive in our community.

🍴 The bar and kitchen will be open, with food and drinks available. Please also come and support the amazing volunteers at the Russian Community Centre!

This year we are raising money for children in Kosovo and Metohija and the elementary school in Zubin Potok. Some other benefactors have already helped and installed 7 air conditioners, 17 more are needed to ensure each classroom and teachers rooms are covered for summer and winter. The value of one air conditioner is about $810 au (€500).
The director also asked for new school desks for the classrooms. 22 desks are needed, and the price is about $244 au (€150)
Of course, everything is possible, and we will endeavour to ensure that these children can study and learn in a comfortable environment which is especially important for the European winters.
The children from Zubin Potok are very gifted and intelligent and deserve as much help as possible considering the circumstances and challenges they face living in occupied Kosovo and Metohija.

On May 9th, Kalinka Adelaide was invited to perform at the Russian Community Centre's Victory Day Concert.

This occasion commemorates the end of World War II and honours those who served and sacrificed during the war. Many of the dancers in Kalinka Adelaide have or had relatives who were affected by the war, making this performance a meaningful way to remember and honour their legacy.

We would like to thank you all for your continued support.

Easter Banquet 2026 💐🌸

Kalinka Adelaide had the absolute honour of performing at the Russian Community Centre Adelaide’s Easter Banquet! It was a truly beautiful evening filled with an incredible atmosphere. Thank you to everyone who made this event so special.
