The South Australian Dance Festival has been specifically designed to bring the community together in a fun, non-competitive environment whereby students can showcase their skills, talent and passion with dancers from all over the state. This 2 day celebration has been established to encourage and unite like-minded individuals in an intensive yet exciting convention. Packed with dance workshops, s

howcase performance opportunities and a Dance Teachers Day led by industry experts from around the nation, this festival is going to be SA biggest and most exciting event of the 2017.

AMARI SMITH | INTERNATIONAL WORKSHOP 🔥

SA Dance Festival is bringing international dancer Amari Smith to ACPA Studios for an exclusive afternoon of training.

With an incredible industry career working alongside artists including Tate McRae, Lil Nas X, Jack Harlow and JoJo Siwa, Amari brings the kind of experience usually seen on world tours, major stages and music video sets straight into the studio.

For one day only, Adelaide dancers will have the chance to learn from him, experience his movement and creative style firsthand, and gain insight from someone actively working at the highest level of the commercial dance industry.

Most recently, he has been performing on an international stadium tour with Taiwanese pop superstar Jolin Tsai.

This was our 7th season of the South Australian Dance Festival, an event that we put together with an interest only in providing opportunities for our wider community. We have over the years experienced so many incredible performers shine in front of the all choreographers we bring down. This year had a very special energy in the room. We could feel everyone fully engaged and in a mindset of growth.

I cannot thank the schools that support this event enough, the students who brought their most outstanding energy into the room and the choreographers who really engage with the students and give more than just a choreography set.

This event wouldn’t be possible without the support of the South Australian Government. But I also want to say a huge thank you to Megan for not only helping organise the event but support with every step of the way.

We’re proud of what we create and we will continue to give you opportunities and exciting ways to grow!
