Congratulations to Cat Leonard, winner of this years' City of Marion Community Art Exhibition Award for Excellence for 100 heads no. 32 - Agnes. Leonard has been awarded a $1000 cash prize as the recipient.

The judges said of the work, "This large-scale work captivates the viewer, allowing them to examine ‘up close’ the confidence in the artist's technique, paint application, and colour choices.

This blend of artistic expression and technical skill results in a compelling, visually and emotionally engaging piece that resonates on multiple levels"

Make paper coil vessels with textile artist Kelly Morris
She will show you how to use this easy coil technique to create funky colourful vessels like the one below. It's easy and fun.
We'll provide most of the materials but if you have “who gives a crap” paper wrappers – please bring some along.
Suitable to beginners 15 years and older
