👩‍🍳🌎 Cooking, Learning & Sharing Together! 🇧🇷
Our preschool children travelled to Brazil through cooking as we made Pão de Queijo, a much-loved Brazilian cheese snack!
The children took turns mixing, helping, and exploring the ingredients while learning that tapioca flour comes from cassava, a plant that is an important part of Brazilian cooking.
Our ongoing cooking experiences are a wonderful way for our preschool community to learn together, share cultural experiences, build confidence, and enjoy the joy of creating food together.
A special thank you to Lucas and Lorena for sharing your beautiful culture with us and helping make this experience so meaningful and delicious!

We are focusing on language and sharing in the Toddlers Studio, it’s wonderful to see the growth our children have shown over the last few weeks.
Conversations and discussions during play and whilst participating in learning experiences as well as spacial awareness.

Today is the last day of Book Week, we had 2 Green Sheep and an apple!
Yes that’s right, Elijah came as the apple from the Very Hungry Caterpillar and he shared the matching story with his friends.
Kehlani and Adalind were our Green Sheep with Kehlani sharing her book Where Is The Green Sheep during morning group time.
It’s been so much fun seeing all of our children in the Toddlers Studio wearing their favourite costumes.

As we continue with celebrating Book Week in the Toddlers Studio Little Red Ridding made an appearance! Yesterday Adalind came as a the Green Sheep.
We then read The Very Noisy Bear and Little Red Riding Hood that Kehlani shared with us.
Adalind shared the book Ten Little Fingers and Ten Little Toes, it was a beautiful story.
Adalind also spent last weekend with Toggle our travelling puppy. Toggle was once again very busy, he saw goats, went on a swing with Adalind and her brother and when it was raining Toggle had a nap with Adalind.

☂️ Our Magical Umbrella Parade
Inspired by book “The Magical Umbrella”, we created our own umbrella using recycled cardboard, paint, cotton and colourful layers. Today, we took our umbrella into the preschool garden for a joyful parade! The children were full of excitement, laughter and loved taking turns holding the umbrella.
Mikayla said “I loved holding the umbrella!”
Malachi- James added “It was so much fun!”
Our creation connects with Book Week 2026, “Symphony of Stories,” as all the different colours, textures and materials came together like instruments in a beautiful symphony.

We continue celebrating Book Week in the Toddlers Studio sharing another story from Kehlani. Today Kehalni bought Ms Rachel and the Special Surprise story to share at group time. This was a lovely story with songs and surprises all the way through.

Our Book Week celebrations are continuing! We’ve been busy making bookmarks, dressing up in our favourite costumes and creating our own stories with story cubes. 🎲📖
Thank you to Parsa, Anthony, Talia and Layla for sharing their favourite books from home and Noah was so proud of his favourite bug costume!
Through stories, creativity and sharing, we continue to build our Symphony of Learning, where every child’s ideas and imagination add a special note.
