🎨 Same Age, Different Brilliance | Oliver & Aiden’s Art Journey

Oliver and Aiden are the same age, but when it comes to art, they shine in completely different ways. ✨

Aiden has been with our studio longer, and compared to his peers, his works are more refined and detailed. When he saw Oliver enthusiastically drawing a ship 🚢, he joined in too—choosing to use bolder colours and more advanced techniques, making his artwork vibrant and full of depth!

Oliver, on the other hand, is a relative newcomer. At first, his techniques were rough, and he still relied heavily on teacher guidance. But this year, his progress has been nothing short of amazing. With his passion for drawing combined with structured teaching, he can now independently complete a ship drawing, carefully capturing the structure and interior details. 👏

Two kids, the same age, yet with unique styles—showing how one theme can blossom into two distinct sparks of creativity. 🌟

🌟 Jessie’s Artistic Journey at 13

Jessie joined our studio less than a year ago, and although her techniques weren’t as refined as some peers at the start, she has never stopped working hard or giving up! 💪

This time she completed two very challenging pieces for her—a pencil sketch and a watercolour painting.
At first, she started with single-object sketches, slowly practicing composition, proportions, and light-and-shadow changes. Now, she’s able to create a complete, well-structured drawing 👏👏

As for watercolour—a medium that demands patience and practice—Jessie has been experimenting again and again with different areas of the painting. Her work is becoming more layered, expressive, and mature each time.

We can truly see the effort behind every step of her progress, and we’re so excited to witness how she will continue to push herself and create even more amazing works in the future! ✨

This piece took James a full two months to complete—one of our Year of the Snake theme works and one of his most challenging to date. 🐍

At nine years old—an age of boundless energy—sitting still isn’t easy. Faced with so many details, he felt a bit overwhelmed at first, but he listened to his teacher’s advice, refined the composition, and adjusted the details step by step.

With patient guidance, James gradually learned to settle into the process—stroke by stroke. His family even laminated the artwork to keep it safe. This isn’t just a meaningful keepsake; it’s truly worthy of display and collection. ✨

Every detail carries the marks of effort and growth. So proud of him! 👏

🎨 [Kirby Completed! | Coloured Pencil Artwork]
This time we’re sharing Elsie’s super-cute Kirby drawing! 🌸
The moment we put it on display in the studio, all the kids crowded around asking: “Who drew this? It’s amazing!” 💖

✨ It took nearly four full lessons to finish, with every detail carefully drawn.
Most kids’ coloured pencil work comes out quite light, but Elsie is always bold with her strokes. Normally in sketching we remind her to go softer—but here, the saturated colours made the piece even more striking!

🍬 The candy colours are matched perfectly, and she even captured the glass jar’s transparency!
On top of that, Elsie added her own creative twists, giving the artwork a fun, personal touch 👏

🎨 Children’s creativity and persistence never fail to inspire us!

Cindy only started attending our art studio last year, but from her very first piece, it was clear that she had a passion for intricate and detailed drawings. Every week, she chooses the most challenging subjects—on her own! 👏👏

In her recent watercolour lessons, she continued to take on complex themes, while also practising how to control colour intensity and layer delicate details. The process can be slow and time-consuming, and sometimes she feels like giving up—but she always pushes through, and her progress has been amazing! 💪✨

What’s even more impressive is her endless stream of ideas. Cindy is bursting with inspiration—she always has a list of artworks she wants to create next! Every lesson, she comes in excited, saying things like: “Teacher, next time I want to paint this! And then that!” 🎨🧠

Watching her grow from interest to true dedication—building patience, creativity and resilience along the way—is exactly what we love to see in our classes ❤️

🎨 [Student Artwork Spotlight | Johnny’s Astronaut 👨‍🚀]

Johnny is one of the students in our teenager class, and this astronaut piece was fully hand-drawn by him, based on a reference from the teacher’s work. From the initial sketch to the final details, he spent 4 to 5 lessons carefully bringing this character to life. It’s a drawing full of patience and dedication! 👏

At first glance, the spacesuit may look like just “plain white,” but look closer — it’s actually built up with layers of soft greys, earthy browns, and subtle shifts between warm and cool tones. Every shade was mixed and applied thoughtfully, giving the suit a rich and realistic texture ✨

And the solid black background? It’s not easy at all! It had to be super clean and even to make the astronaut pop. It’s that perfect balance of deep black that really brings out the brightness of the main figure 🌌

We’re so proud to guide them as they explore their own artistic language in a space full of warmth and encouragement.

📸 This week, we also captured a few teaching moments — because behind every masterpiece is a journey of learning and joy.

✨ From Scribbles to Stunning – Angela’s Amazing Artistic Growth! ✨

Angela has been one of the most surprising and impressive students we’ve had in recent years!
When we compare her recent work with what she created just after turning six — the difference is honestly incredible 😲

This time, she spent over three months carefully refining every detail to complete this beautifully intricate Year of the Snake-themed drawing 🐍. The composition, the creative ideas, and the ex*****on all feel so thoughtful and mature – it really caught our eyes! ✨

While many students created snake-themed artworks this year, Angela’s piece truly stood out – not only in how polished it looks, but also in how confidently it expresses her unique vision. 👍

This kind of progress doesn’t happen by luck. It’s the result of consistent practice and steady growth. Angela is always focused in class, never afraid of challenges, and patiently works through feedback without ever saying “I can’t.” It’s exactly this attitude that has brought her so far 👏👏

Watching her grow from simple coloured pencil drawings to now independently completing such a powerful, well-structured piece is incredibly moving ❤️

Were you as blown away by the difference as we were? 😆

📣 We’ve finally completed our Pet Sketch Series! 🐶✏️
Three of our little artists — Clarissa, Evelyn, and Jin — have each finished beautiful pencil sketches of their own pet dogs, and the results are just full of love! 💛

Here are their furry friends:
🐾 Evelyn drew her fluffy little Pomeranian
🐾 Clarissa captured the elegance of a Poodle
🐾 Jin sketched a curly-haired Labradoodle

This activity focused on observing fur texture and direction — a super important (and tricky!) part of pet sketching. One wrong flick of the pencil, and the fur can suddenly look all over the place! 😅

That’s why we’re so proud of how carefully they’ve worked through each piece. Every drawing shows not only growing skills but also the deep love these kids have for their furry best friends 🐾🧡

Which one is your favourite? Let us know in the comments!
